Kat snorted, not noticing how his eyes were growing dangerous, "Yeah, and I'm the queen!" She barked.

In a mad flash of fury Ian hit Kat upside the head and slammed her into the ground, steaming with anger.
"Shut. Up." He snarled, letting go of her and turning away.

Kat whimpered on the ground, staying where she lay. She held her forehead, where he'd hit her, and felt her eyes well up. The kiss didn't mean anything, nothing ever meant anything. Kat curled herself into a tight ball, whimpering some more.
"I-I'm sorry.." She said softly, her voice breaking slightly.

Ian ignored Kat completely, rolling onto his side again. He couldn't make the small pool of guilt in his mine go away, so he just zoned everything out, hoping to just sleep.

Kat stayed awake, hoping Ian would fall asleep soon.

Ian did eventually drift of into a light doze, his breath even and calm.

Once Kat was sure that Ian was asleep, she lightly rose to her feet. A bruise had formed on her temple, but she'd heal. Kat gingerly stepped over Ian, walking to her horse and mounting it.

Ian didn't stir, but his sleeping figure was outlined by the moonlight, showing off his toned arms and body.

"I'm sorry, Ian..." Kat muttered, everyone leaves... she thought bitterly, before walking off quickly.

The following morning Ian awoke with a start. He looked around and mentally cursed himself for lettif Kat get away. Thankfully, she hadnt bothered covering upher tracks. He hopped onto his horse and began quickly following the prints, As quietly as possible.

Kat was continuing to Dublin, she'd fallen asleep at the foot of a mountain, sleeping blissfully.

Ian found Kat quickly and smirked, seeing her lying there. He hopped off his horse and brokenoff a piece of his bread, eating it boredly as he watched her sleep, hidden in the shadows.

Kat slowly woke up, she whirled around, forgetting that she'd left Ian over the night. Kat paused, slowly remembering. She frowned a bit, the feeling of being alone coming to her like an old friend. The girl stood and walked over to her horse, realizing she'd left the majority of her supplies with Ian.

Seeing Kat was awake, Ian stepped out of the shadows and leaned against a tree with his arms folded promptly over his chest.
"Tried to run away, huh." He said lightly, clearly amused at her poor attempt to escape.

Kat jumped, the frowned. "Yeah..well..Everyone leaves." She said casually, though she was terrified of what punishment she'd receive.
