Mason ~
No. Mine. He said and pulled the knife close to him, turning away from Villina. Mason had a dream that Adam had given him the knife so he believed it. Mason looked like Adam a little bit, well his expression did anyway. Mason looked at the ground then at Villina again.

Villina shook her head, she glanced around, for something to use to distract him, or bargain with. She looked at the toys, nothing was like the knife, nothing was something Mason would probably want besides it. "Hey Mason, that's daddy's, did he give it to you? Can I see your present?" she asked.

Mason ~
Yes. He said meekly, his little fingers holding the other side of the blade. He looked at it and then handed it to Villina. See. He said then outstretched his arm and opened his hand, wanting the knife back almost 3 seconds after giving it to her.

Villina stood, "I'll bring it right back, I'm just going to clean it for you." she said. She walked to the sink and started to wash it, she went to the knife sharpener and turned the mode from 'sharpen' to 'safeness' she hoped that Adam wouldn't mind that she was giving his knife to Mason. She ran it threw, completely dulling the blade. She returned it to Mason.

Mason ~
He ran after her.No! Your gonna mess it up! He said, pulling on her shirt. He didn't want it to get messed up. He loved that knife. It had built in wire clippers and other things. Mason grabbed the knife again, he tried to cut a piece of orange but it wouldn't cut. You broke it! He screamed and threw it down. He ran to his room and climbed on his bed. Covering himself from head to toe with his blankie.

Villina picked up the knife. She walked to the sharpener and sighing sharpened it again, she walked into his room. "Mason, we need to have a talk, you knife is sharp again." she said, she lifted the blanket, sitting on the bed next to him. "I just want you to know, you can't go around cutting things, including yourself and if I give it back to you, you have to promise to not let your sister hurt herself with it too." she said.

Mason ~
Okay. I promise. He said. He was just a little guy. Mason looked at the small T.V in his room and turned on 'Johny Test'. He smiled and watched it. He giggled. Mommy! I want a doggy like that. He said, pointing to the dog on the T.V. The one they called, 'Dukey'. He is a good doggy mommy.

"Well. I was thinking about giving you guys each a puppy that you can 'raise' as your own." Villina said. "You'll have a good dog. just like him, but a different color and breed." she said and looked at the TV, she set his knife on the bedside table and watched the show with him, laughing with him, but she wondered about Adam and her daughter.

Adam ~
He waited for the signal. When everything was okay he and his team moved in. There was a shoot out and people running everywhere. Adam was shot in the shoulder but that didn't stop him from finding and holding his daughter. Adam turned his shoulder, shielding Haley as more gunfire was released. He was struck again, this time in the forearm. Haley covered her face with one hand and gripped Adam with the other.

Villina smiled and pulled him gently into her lap, "You wanna go visit the pups?" she asked. She stood, she had already given all of them away, now she only had three left, not including her brother's one year year old dog, Mage, who was the little pup's sister. Villina walked to the dog room. The six dogs greeted her, Camelot, Africa, Mage, and the three rascals, as she called them. She smiled and patted their heads, thinking about her pup's name.

Mason ~
He nodded and walked with her down to see the puppies. He touched them gently and they all ran all over him. There was one puppy in particullar he really liked. Mommy. This is the puppy for me. He said and patted the little boy. I'm gonna name you... Rascal! He exlaimed, patting the puppy and giggling as it licked his fingers.

((Which pup is it? The white one, brown and white on, or orange and white one?))

Villina grinned, she sat and the remaining dogs, besides rascal all scrambled onto her lap, then in flew the adult dogs, she laughed and they licked her face, she grinned. She picked one pups up and it gazed down at her with an intelligent expression on its face. It was a little girl. "Magic." she said.

Adam ~
He and Haley were taken to the hospital. Haley had a full bill of health. Adam got the bullets taken out of his shoulder and his arm. Adam and Haley were released that following afternoon and Adam drove to Villina's home. He knocked on the door, holding Haley. He had patches of gause on his wounds that showed a little blood. The worst part was they cut half his shirt off. Adam wouldv'e went home and got another shirt but he knew Villina was worrying.

Villina opened the door, eyes lighting up, she hugged him, avoiding the bruises and bandaged wounds. When she finally released him, she hugged Hailey and took a step back, "I'm so glad you two are back and in one piece, she glanced at the bandages, "or well, alive." she said.

Adam ~
He grinned, setting Haley down. Haley ran straight to Mason. She hugged and kissed her brother. Adam smiled and leaned against the door. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring any trouble in your life. I never meant for this to happen. He said and looked down. He meant it. He sighed a little more.
