Molli looked at all four of them, her eyes turning dull and uninterested. She could hear the chanting of the audience, like the chatter of birds. She didn't care what happened to her, but then she realized that Sunshine was out there, alone, by herself. She wouldn't stand for it. She needed to live, make a world where Sunshine could feel safe. Molli sprang to her feet, her eyes reanimated, her fire burning intesnly. She first smashed her firsts into the forehead of one peacekeeper, he fell to the ground, his skill fractured. Molli turned to the others, she punched another in the middle of his chest with all her might, causing his chest to implode an he fall dead. The third was easy, Molli punched his nose upwards, he fell, his nose splintering into his skull. Molli looke at the last one, her eyes crazed.

The final peacekeeper stared at her, fear vivid in his amber eyes. He was ready to meet his end, running wasn't an option so he just looked at her pitifully. However, before she could harm him, Tommy had come up behind her and with all the strength the big man could muster, he hit her with a nightstick in he back, between her shoulder blades. (hope thts okay, I haz an idea reelz quick XD)

Molli yelped and fell to the ground. She then realized how mug everything hurt. From former beatings, from lack of food and water. It all hurt. Molli whimpered, trying to stand but falling again. She looked up at Tommy, her face in a hard scowl.

"Now, we finish this!" He announced and the crowd roared. Tommy signaled and the peacekeeper placed a heavy booted foot on her chest: waiting.

Tommy reappered, dragging someone along with him. A poor fool, bare foot, faded blue jean and a grey t-shirt with blood staining most of the front. Tommy smiled "Our most loyal soldier... Rehabilitated to our liking." He announced, grabbing the man's head and forcing him to look up... It was Drake. Both eyes where blackened, a severe burn on his cheek, and dried blood stains that trailed from his nose down his chin.

The crowd roared again as Tommy handed the broken Drake a hand gun he and the peacekeeper backed away, watching Drake stare at the gun: then Molli.

Molli looked up at him, her eyes wide, her breathing frantic. She knew she couldn't win, she'd never win in this life. She stared defiantly at the gun, her jaw stiff and her face hard. She wouldn't show weakness, she could show fear, but not weakness. She thought back to Sunshine, and her lower lip trembled. Her eyes connected with Drake's, slightly pleading, but for whAt she didn't know. They'd gotten her, like a rat in a cage.
"Drake..." she whimpered in a soft voice.

Drake looked at her slowly, their eyes connecting like they had so many time before.

"Kill her, Drake!" Tommy snarled.

Drake only shook his head, letting the gun slide from his grip and hit the dirt. "...No..." He replied.

"What?!" Tommy snarled, halting his peacekeeper when he tried to lunge.

Drake moved painfully to her side, stiffly dropping to his knees next to her as he slid his arm behind her, slowly helping her up and in a way cradeling her. Ignoreing the crowd's murrmurs.

Molli nodded her approval, defiance was always good. She fought back a few years, she was sad. In pain and sad. Molli willingly leaned into Drake, for the first time, letting him help her without protest. She looked up at Tommy, her eyes pleading. She didn't want to leave Sunshine alone in the world, she needed to find her. She needed Drake to do it. Molli was finally on her feet, glaring at Tommy, want to take him down.

Tommy sneered "Oh you are both a wonderful pair-" he couldn't finish, Drake hand hit him with a powerful hook. The peacekeeper had bolted off by now. When Tommy went down Drake feircly kicked him a few time "I outta beat the f*ck outta you... Like you did me!! But I won't...I'm not like you... And, I never wanna be..." He took Molli's hand "C'mon, I know where the exit it..." He murrmured. It was strange, even though he was in terrible pain, having Molli's hand in his felt nice. He didn't understand it and he knew she probablly didn't feel it, he brushed it off: assuming it was just him.

Molli smiled a little, then fallowed Drake, their hands still clutched. She could've let go, but she didn't. She liked the comfort.

He was thankful that they'd gotten out and had gotten a little way's away before they stopped to catch their breath. Drake thought, he stared at Molli the whole time: why didn't she let his hand go? He had developed feelings for her over their time together, that was apparant for him. But he didn't know about her: why should she feel anything. A feral, why should she feel anything...? Without thinking, even caring: he gently grabbed her by the arms and pulled her to him closing the space between them with a kiss.

Molli's eyes widened, she pushed her hand lightly against his chest and jerked her head back. Molli pulled herself away from his grip, she was never good at these emotions. But she knew this wasn't what she wanted, not right now, not right here. So, Molli responded the Only way she knew how to. She brought her open hand up an whacked his across the face, hard. She didn't care if he was beat up, she didn't care If it hurt his feelings. Molli wasn't Ready for any of that. She huffed and took a few steps back.
"Drake, I don't... I'm not ready for that kind of thing," she tried to explain as calmly as she could managed. This was very hard for her, because she did care for Drake, how, she didn't know. "I-we need to find Abby first, maybe after that, I don't know." she muttered.

Drake didn't make a sound when she hit him, but his head jerked to the side with the force of the hit. He wasn't sure how hard she had hit him, he couldn't feel it, he couldn't feel much. He only blinked a couple of times, staring at the ground. He was numb, he didn't care, his emotions weren't working properlly at the moment. They had been beaten out of him and replaced with cruel, sick, corrupt things. Things so dark... And yet things he considered now. He finally turned his emrald blue gaze to Molli when she included him in their search for Abby. He only nodded, robotically at that, before turning and starting to trek back to where they'd last see Sunshine and Reggie...

Molli groaned and fallowed him, stepping in his footprints like a child would as she thought. She didn't think she was being selfish, she didn't think she owed Drake anything. Respect, site. But that wasn't how a Feral's life worked. People helpe each other out all the time at thier own risk. If you helped someone out as they ended up screwing you over, well that wasn't anyone's fault. She didn't feel any guilt of any kind, but she did feel a little bad for him. She felt bad that she didn't feel strongly for him, but not that she hit him. Molli felt he deserved it.
"You can't be mad at me," she accused, in response to his silence.

"I'm not mad at you." He replied robotically. Even his voice showed no emotion. That was true, he couldn't be mad if he wasn't even nuteral.

He walked in a broken manner, an occasional limp, a painful shoulder twitch... Having to pause because his body would shake violently, racking him with pain and causing him to cry out, sputtering into violent coughing ending with him spitting up blood before continuing on. He wasn't bothered that Molli saw him like this. He didn't care, he had worked it all out in his mind. He would get Reggie and return home, allow another beating and hope he could return. Molli was strong, she didn't need him to get east... And he didn't need them.

"Maybe we should rest, Abby couldn't have gotten too far." Molli offered, stopping ad sitting stubbornly. She crossed her arms over her chest and waited for him to walk back to her.
