Mello stood, shaking himself off slowly. Warbler lay down between the two and licked Prince's wound a couple more times.
"What? It had a bug..."

"Leave it be," Prince laughed as he rolled over on his back, putting the gash out of her reach. He pulled his front paws to his chest, relaxing again.

Warbler hung her head low and gave Prince her best puppy eyed look.
"but Prince, i dont want it to get infected and you to die." She whined. "That bug could have...diseases!"

Prince leaned over to look at her.
"I'm not gonna die." Prince reassured her. "I can bleed buckets before i start to get dizzy."

Prince groaned.
"Okay, Okay." Prince said as he rolled back onto his belly, leaving a spot of blood on the floor where his shoulder had dripped.

Warbler popped up and tackled Prince, licking his wound wildly, determined to make the bleeding stop.
"Yay!!"

Prince groaned and layed his head down on the floor, flinching ever so slightly when Warbler would hit a tender spot.

Prince smiled when he heard he gentle snoring and found her asleep. He glanced at his shoulder.
Still bleeding.. he said to himself. I hope it stops soon.
Prince layed his head on his paws and dirfted into a deep sleep.

The next morning Mello woke up, and told Warbler he was gonna go for a bit, and she nodded sleepily. Hours later, Warbs woke up again, and glanced at Prince's shoulder. Eeeewwww..... She thought, seeing it was....infected. She winced at the thought of licking that clean.

Prince rose his head, waking up. He slid to his feet, stretching, then looked down at Warbler.
"Morning kiddo," he greeted.
