"Oh the other little traitor shows herself!" said Zira, hiding. "What's wrong, Kovu? Don't you miss your momma?" she asked, giving a psychotic laugh.
"Zira?" asked Kiara, looking around. "But it can't be...you...you're dead!"

Zira chuckled. "Fine, I'll tell you then!"
OOC: This uses the same music as the original My Lullaby.
“I was betrayed and drowned
My children left me for dead!
Betrayal’s most bitter sound
Just wouldn’t leave my head! Zira sung, giving a snarl as she dodged Kiara's line of sight as lightning illumiated the cave briefly.
"But I had a dream, my pretties
It made me less distressed
It made me absolutely giddy
And helped me get some rest!" sung the psychotic lioness, picking over Vitani's shoulder before vanishing back into the darkness.
"The sound of your worried calls!
Your children screaming on my claws!
The prides sorrowful cries!
That’s my lullaby!” Zira sung, appearing atop the cubs bed as lightning lit up the cave again, causing Kiara to let out a scream and tumble backwards before Zira disappeared again.
Kiara panted in fright. It then hit her, her eyes filling her eyes. "No...the cubs...please no!" she cried, terror at the thought of losing her children filling her mind.

That’s not enough revenge for me!
For now your cubs still live!" continued Zira, giving a dark chuckle as she peeked over the two parent's shoulders.

The cub that was hiding in the corner ran out and ran under Kovu's legs sitting there shaking.

Dogo whimpered. "Who are you?"
"Oh, don't worry," said Merah. "You're grandma is just here to pick you up to visit her, we're part of her group, don't worry," she said, Zira having told them to say that if the cubs woke up.

Kiara felt Zira's breath on her shoulder and leapt around, pouncing on her and pinning her down, snarling. "Give our cubs back now!"
"Now Kiara, if you want them back, I'll tell you how," sung Zira, bringing her hind legs up and kicking Kiara in the gut, sending her to the ground, coughing heavily. Zira quickly got back to her feet and chuckled.
"A melody of terrified screams!
The sound of your lives torn at the seams!
A symphony of sorrow, oh my!
That’s my lullaby!" sung Zira, circling the duo.
"Now that you know where we stand
If you love those precious little kids
Come meet me in the Outlands!
I assure you, these aren‘t simple fibs!” sung Zira with a smirk.

Kiara coughed, trying hard to catch her breath. “Our kids are in the outlands? Why’d you take them there?” she asked, terrified for her cubs..
"If you want to know, follow me if you dare!” sung Zira, leaping over Kiara and standing in front of the opening to the cave, lightning flashing as she kicked backwards, smashing Kiara's face into the ground.
“Come to the Outlands within the week, bring only your close family,” said Zira, smiling as Kiara groaned, having had her forehead blooded by the hit. “I’d better not see the entire pride coming with you,” she said, snarling. “Oh, and Kiara, ask your father about your brother.”
Kiara gasped. “B-brother? I…I have a brother?” she asked, trying to keep the blood trickling from her forehead from getting in her eyes.
Zira chuckled. “Typical, well you’d better find out…because if you don‘t do as I say…things might get a little rough.”
Kiara was confused, what did Zira mean. “Did you…what happened?”
“Follow me or you’ll find out soon enough
Because it’ll happen the same as last time!
That’s a promise I plan to keep very well!
And this time, the fault will really be mine!
Better hurry now! You don't have long to dwell!" Zira sung, jumping out onto the entrence to the cave, letting rain soak her pelt.
"The joy of vengeance come at last!
Revenge for the betrayals of the past!
That's the time you should be fearing!
Because payback time is nearing!
Better hurry because time will fly
You don't want your cubs to cry
That’s! My! Lullaaaabyyyyy!" sung Zira, giving a psychotic laugh at the finish before jumping out and vanishing into the storm as a lightning bolt lit up the cave.

The cub ran otu almost out of the cave before realising it was raining and when some thunder came in it jumped and backed up into Kiara's legs.

Zira had already fled the scene when Kovu spoke.
Kiara sobbed. "Our babies...h-how did this happen?" she asked, then looked down at the cub, seeing it was scared. She lightly licked it's head, trying to comfort it, ignoring the blood on her own face.

Simba, having seen Vitani run off, soon followed. "What happened?" he asked, entering the cave. He save Kiara hurt and the cubs gone. "What happened?"

"I'm back," said Zira, walking up. "Aww, the cubs woke up, I'm sorry," she said, nuzzling them, trying to act like she really was just their visiting grandmother, she had plans for them. "I'm your grandma Zira, Kovu's mother."
OOC: The cubs don't know who Zira is.
