Belladonna nudged Sakak. She had a torch in her paw. "I'll carry it. I can keep it light for them, and keep the Amarok as far away as possible." she chuckled, using her demonic power to light the torch ablaze.
Katie leaned down and picked up Denali in her mouth, moving at a quick trot.
Kodi followed his mate's example, picking up Derbin in his mouth.
Tai closed her eyes, letting herself become a little more aware of different emotions coming through before she reopened her eyes, looking about.

Jenna looked around them carefully. "What does the Amarok look like?" she asked, wanting to know what their enemy looked like before they actually encountered him.

"They say he looks like a giant wolf." Aleu said, looking about. "The only difference is that the Amarok hunts alone, instead of in a pack."

Sakak nodded. "He's really hard to miss. He's even bigger than a Dire Wolf."
"Dire Wolf?" asked Cachen, cocking his head slightly and looking around slowly to keep an eye out.
"Prehistoric species of wolf," explained Sakak, keeping his eyes out. "Biggest mortal species to ever live, but they all went extinct."
Jenna was still getting used to Sakak being FAR older than all of them put together. "But thefire should keep him away, right?"

Belladonna nodded. "You'll all be fine, as long as the fire keeps going." she said, trying to be reassuring.
"We should be safe. Even if he gets close, we can hide, and the talismans should keep us safe, right?" Tai asked.
OOC: Wow, I'm really late...

OOC: It's ok, but I was kind of worried about you.
"They should, at least Jenna's will," explained Sakak. "If we could find a cave and put the Dog Talsiman at the front of it, the Amarok wouldn't be able to enter at all, so we'd be safe there. Do you think we should do that and move during the day when its asleep?"

OOC: A lot of stuff. High School is so hard *.* and I didn't think it'd be so hard!
Tai blinked, looking about. "Well, it's not a bad idea at all. It'd give everyone a chance to relax, and rejuvenate." she said, ears perked high on her head.
"I'm agreeing with you both," said Belladonna. "We have to find a free cave now, though."

OOC: I understand.
"Shouldn't be too difficult, anyone see a mountain nearby?" asked Sakak, looking around for one.

"In the dark, with all these tress?" Aleu asked, head turning to the left, and to the right. "The dark isn't much of a problem, but there's also a large forest in front of us." she said.
"Hmph, there should be something." Tai said, thinking back. "Even if we found an old den and dug it out a little, that should be enough." she said, ears splaying as she thought long and hard.

"Yes, but me and Belladonna are spirits and can fly, the darkness isn't as much of a problem for us," said Sakak, turning to his mate. "Shall we fly up and take a look?"

"What could it hurt?" Belladonna said, wings splaying out. "Let's go."

Sakak flew up into the air and looked around. "Hmm..." he said, thinking carefully. "That mountain over there," he stated, looking over and looking closely. "I think there's a cave over there."

Belladonna flew in beside him, peering into the dark. "Yea, you may be right. It's our best chance, right?" she asked.

Sakak nodded. "Alright, now any sign of big, mean, and ugly?"

"Nope!" Belladonna looked around, giving a sigh. "And I would like to think I'd spot him, since he's as tall as the trees..." she rolled her eyes, lowering herself again. "Sorry, folks, looks like we're just gonna have to be careful." she shrugged helplessly.
Aleu only nodded, looking forward. "As long as we're quiet, Amarok shouldn't be too jostled around by us."
