~~~~~~
Sadie followed it to the point where the bush was. Looking behind it, she practically jumped out of her fur. "Ryan?! What are you doing here?!"
"Wha? I am just strolling around hunting for the pack. I think I went too far though." Ryan said in surprise.
Sadie narrowed her eyes. "Whatever, Ryan. That lie is transparent and pathetic."
"What? Why do you think I am lying?" Ryan asked, trying to hide that he WAS lying.
"You don't go miles out of our territory to hunt. There's a hunting grounds nearby, for goodness' sake!" Sadie said. "Besides, I've had experience with liars."
"If you were curious, than you would've asked. Ryan, I know you've seen Ai." THe thought sent chills down Sadie's spine, but she didn't show anything other than anger and a cold glare.
"No! Ai is dead! I followed without saying because.. because..." Ryan stopped. He couldn't think of what to lie.
"Her scent is on your fur, Ryan. It's useless to lie now. And when you go back to Ai, warn her not to come after us. If she values her life." Sadie's voice was dripping venom.
Sadie looked at Ryan in disbelief. "Do you think I would actually hurt you?" she asked, her voice softening a little. "Ryan, I'm not Ai. I don't hurt people just to ease frustration or jealousy." She sounded a bit apologetic now.
