They had walked for only a few minutes more when Shay heard light footsteps...that didn't come from anyone in their small group. She whirled around in time for a net to close on her, and as she fell to the ground, she caught sight of quite a few normal humans that had been following them. Her breath began to come faster, and she struggled to keep a lid on her rising panic and animal urges.

Shay wouldn't allow herself to revert to animal instincts again, whether it would help her escape or not. It was hard enough keeping a lid on her panic, and if she gave in enough to even claw her way out of the net, it would be like a set of dominoes falling. She saw one pull out a tranquilizer gun, aiming it at either Zane or Viktor. Her eyes widened as he pulled the trigger, and the dart sped towards them.
Shay tried to cry out, but a hasty kick to her stomach left her breathless, and unable to warn them.

"No!" Shay cried out. She could already feel her control slipping, and she struggled to break free of the net. She felt a small pain in her arm, and her moves turned sluggish. "No.." she murmured, before collapsing like her friends.

Shay was rousing beside him, a soft moan escaping her lips. Her head felt like it had been used as a bowling ball against solid metal pins. She ignored the wave of nausea that coursed throw her, looking at the metal bars in disbelief. "A cage? You have got to be kidding me." She bit her lip hard as she felt her animal instincts rouse, begging to take control and help her escape. It didn't help that she was caged, like she was some freak zoo-exhibit.

"No! I feel like a freaking zoo-exhibit!" Shay snapped, tension making her easily irritated. She softened as she turned to look at him. "Sorry, Zane. Its a bit hard to keep control right now."

"Is Viktor awake yet?" Shay asked suddenly. She could barelysee a third cage, but the bars of her own wouldn't allow her to glimpse into it.
