Biddy glanced at the gym than back at Asher. "I guess I ought to go."

Victor smiled and shrugged again. "Sorry?"

"I'll, um, see you later than," Biddy said, stepping towards the gym doors.

Victor looked away from Shay at the mention of trust. "Thats easier said than done," he said.

Biddy walked into the locker room and changed into her gym clothes, ignoring the other girls in there who were chatting away.

Victor was taken by surprise by Shay's forcefullness. He wanted to look away, but he also didn't want to pull away. If he had a heart, it would have been pounding in his chest. "Perhaps in time," he said, unable to say anything but the truth.

As the bell rang, Biddy jogged out of the locker room with the rest of the girls and stood in the middle of the gym.

"Yeah, I definately know," Victor said, rubbing the back of his neck, breathing heavier than normal though there was no heart to slow down. He could hear thr faint and fast flutter of Shay's heart.

"Maybe I, uh, should get you home," Victor said after a few minutes of silence.

Victor hestated a second, trying to think of a reason, any reason, to do just the opposite of what he had suggested. But it was too late for excuses now. He sighed in defeated and took a step back to where they had come from. "Come one, than," he said.

Victor stopped in front of the cave entrance and smiled widely. Just the excuse he was looking for. "Yeah, I did, didn't I? Well, I guess it would be very rude to leave you with just two fantastic places in mind," he said as he turned around, masking his smile only slightly. "But I don't want to show you them all today. Just one more tonight, and the rest for another time?" He hoped that the pleading his his eyes for her to say yes wasn't too clear.

Victor smiled at her eagerly racing heart. "See if you can keep up this time," Victor teased, adding a smirk before hurrying into the passage way again, almost tripping over a branch himself in his distracted state of mind.
