Crystal nodded and pressed her nose against his, accidentally forcing him back to sit on a porcupine. "You fell on a porcupine...didn't you." she said, feeling guilty already.

Cobalt swallowed hard because he sat down on a porcupine and said to Crystal while getting up off of the porcupine but having quills stuck in his butt "Yes, but it's my fault not yours, Crystal. I could have easily told you to stop if I wanted to because I seen that porcupine but I didn't tell you to stop so don't blame yourself for this. Okay? It's my fault and my fault ALONE."

Cobalt nodded and said "Well, I didn't tell you this part, though, and I think it's time to tell you and only you. I don't want the others to find out and I can trust you with my darkest secret. No one else knows in this world except myself. Well,...................................................I actually brought the Windigo to my pack. How it happened was that I was out in the forest playing and then I seen it. It seen me also and it roared at me, being a pup I didn't know better than run back to my pack, to my father. It came chasing after me and it killed my whole pack. My father told me to run but I couldn't because I was frozen in place by fear. The Windigo seen me and it almost got me, when my father jumped on it to save my life. It threw my dad down and it viciously attacked him. The Windigo actually ate my dad in front of me and then I ran. That is the true version of that incident. It was horrible and to make it even worse was that I blamed myself for the whole thing until today. I finally realized because of Luke, that I was just a pup and I couldn't have done anything to help my pack. So, it has haunted me to this very day."
