Nightstar slept, and that night, she dreamed. She was walking alone though the forest-y territory of Tribe of the East. A fog-like mist abruptly surrounded her. It was fog, but it wasn't, for this cloudlike substance was made of swirling colors. The colors danced around the you white wolf, seeming to turn her pelt spectacular shades of blue, gold, pink, orange, green or purple. Nighstar grew dizzy watching these colors twirl in front of her face, but then they parted, creating a path, and down that path came...Ohzu. Nightstar marveled as the brown wolf made his way down the strange path, smiling at her with half-closed eyes. "Good morning, my white one," He greeting. Nighstar backed up, confused. But dream-Ohzu persisted, coming closer. He licked Nightstar's creamy white face. She froze, wondering what to do next. But she ending up just going with it, the mysterious fog turning heartwarming colors as the two wolves dance with them. But the scene was fading...everything was fading...
Nighstar awoke, surprised. What and odd dream...was it supposed to mean something? She recalled the cozy feeling she had felt, and the cold emptiness that had filled her when her friend had faded.

Silversnow felt NIghtstar stir beside her as she woke up, and she yawned. "Nightsar?" she asked sleepily, seeing her friend sitting, a surprised expression on her face.

Nightstar sat dazed for a moment, but then realized that her friend had spoken. "Come again?" She asked, head still unmoving, though she rotated her ears to better catch Silversnow's response.

"You ok? What are you doing awake?" SIlversnow asked, wondering if her friend was ok.

"Oh. Just an odd dream, nothing to worry about. I'll be fine." Nightstar smiled reassuringly, then lay down to fall back asleep. She hoped Silversnow would follow her example and ask no further questions, but she showed no outer signs of nervousness. The creamy white wolf just lay calmly, ear relaxed, ice-blue eyes closed. Her breath came steadier as she fell into a light snooze.

Silversnow's mouth was open, just about to ask a question, when she noticed Nightstar had fallen asleep. She quickly shut her mouth, and slowly layed back down, curling up intopa Silver and white ball. Soon she had followed NIghtstar's example, and was sleeping lightly.

Nightstar blinked as bright sunlight filtered into her eyes. Past dawn already! She stood, stretched, and shook her thick white pelt. Glancing at Silversnow, who was still asleep, she padded out into the open camp. The Breakfast Patrol was lucky today, they had not only brought down prey, but it was a nice big one. Nightstar trotted towards it. It was obvious that most of the Tribe had already munched, but there where still some juicy, tender parts left. Nightstar sank her long, white fangs into the juicy prey, savoring the taste. There hadn't been a kill this good in months!

Silversnow stirred slightly, still wanting to go back to sleep.She finally cracked one eye open and sat up, yawning. She closed her mouth and padded outside, still slightly tired. The secnt of prey was in the air and she quickly headed towards the prey pile, where Nightstar was already eating. "Morning NIghtstar," Silversnow said, then sank her teeth into the meat, he salty flavor filing her mouth, waking her up completly.

Nightstar swallowed a chunk of meat. "Morning." She replied. "Ready for the day?" A slight breeze invited itself into the camp, ruffling the wolves' pelts.

Silversnow tore of the chunk of meat that she had sunk her teeth into, and rapidly, it went down her throat. "Yep," Silversnow said, the cool breeze feeling good against her thick pelt. "You?" she asked, her green eyes looking at Nightstar.

Nighstar grinned. "You bet!" She turned her face to the sky, inhaling thin, crisp mountain air. "So what do you plan to do today? We're no longer in training and we don't have any patrols to get ready for." She glanced questioningly at Silversnow.

Silversnow thought for a moment. "I don't know, I was hoping you might have something in mind," she said, still searching her brain for something t do as she spoke,

Nightstar shrugged. "Not particularly."

Silversnow frowned. "Hmmm," she said, still thinking. "Let's just talk for a while, then maybe something will come to mind later," she suggested.

Nightstar grinned devilishly. "Or not," She said lowly, almost teasingly. Then she bolted off, out of camp. "Come on!" She called behind her, not slowing down.
