I bought this movie the minute it came out. Wasnt able to see it in theaters though. I'm kinda glad I didnt after seeing it had a musical or two. I couldnt recognuze Justin Longs voice at first. Sad it was Dennis Hoppers last movie.

I found the animation to be a bit cheesy but still good.

Huh. They sure kept that one under wraps, didn't they? It's STILL not listed on imdb.com. Not at all.

And eeyeah...that looks...horrid. While I wasn't thrilled about the first one either, I didn't hate it the way many wolfaboos and Balto fans do. But this almost looks as frightening as the sequel to Secret of NIMH (and most of us remember what a ghastly horror that was)!

I thought it was gonna be another theatrical release. The direct-to-DVD bit was unexpected. Even more unexpected was the subtitle: A Howl-iday Adventure. Didn't see that one coming.

This looks...frighting. But even though this movie looks bad, I'll still waste my money on it when it comes out.

I just saw the DVD/Bluray pack in the Walmart that I work at... and I'm honestly not that impressed just by the look of it.

Plus, there's a trailer for the movie up on Youtube now, and it's okay. The animation looks like the first, so that's a MAJOR PLUS.

...I'm not sure about Kate and Humphrey's pups [Stinky, Claudette and Runt], but I think I like Runt the best. He's supposedly the main catalyst of stuff here, so... yay...? At least Kate and Humphrey are still in character, even when they're together.

Richard Rich is in charge of it [just like the first one; he also took charge of the "Swan Princess" movies], so it shouldn't be too bad. Then again, it's only 45 minutes... and there's supposedly more adventures to come, according to the bonus feature that's on the DVD/Bluray release.

I'll be sure to add a review [spoiler-free, of course] once I get a chance to watch it.
So, anyone else excited about it?

I also saw the second movie at Walmart, but I didn't have enough cash on me to buy it. Although I will admit I downloaded this movie illegally...

My thoughts are this movie is not worth your money (although I would like to purchase the movie since I did watch it illegally). The animation is actually worse than the first film (it looks like a cut scene from a video game), and the characters themselves seem rather bland to me (their personalities seem flat). The sound score was also rather irritating, as they just reused the same sound score in several scenes. And don't get me started on the ending.

Here is a couple of clips:

A divide & conquer takeover plot? Oh, that sounds intense.

To be honest I really liked the Swan Princess, but these movies are just awful. Those pups are so ugly, could it kill them to make designs that we would actually enjoy staring at? The animation is worse than the first looking at those clips...ugh. I have also seen no marketing for this movie on television or the internet, so I'm guessing this won't do so well in sales..
