Occ: Kick Start, hm... yeah we really need to get some action into this story! XD

((Sorry, I feel bad asking for a kickstart when I myself haven't checked back from exams. Well I'm on break now and will be able to checkback more frequently))

Around the outer edges of the pack some wolves had decided to take a rest from the organization event that was meant to reorganize the whole event. However the choices for their resting locations seem a tad bit too unusual. A little too planned even.

Daiku tilted his head a bit and glaced at Xinal efore looking to his division. "hold that thought." He turned his head back to Xinal and smiled at him, "hey Xinal, What do you need?" he said with a slight curiosity, noticing the two others and how they were at his side. But he just assumed they wanted in on the division.

"Are you sure you're doing the right thing?" Xinal asked, his now red eyes glaring at Daiku, "combining these two packs where once the unity of one depended on the rivalry of the other?" The two wolves with him starts to advance on Daiku.

Overhead several ground spikes are launched and aimed to land threateningly close to Daiku. The wolves who had gone out to rest were the origins of this attack.

(I hope I'm right but there are stone things flying at Daiku and now some of teh pack members are going against him?)

Hayumi looked up to where she had seen Xinal walk up to last, and now it looked like the demon inside of him had taken over. She watched a stone spike nearly miss Daiku. "No!" She yelped as she stretched her wings and flew up to them and landed betweeen the two males. "Xinal! What are you doing?" She looked down at her paws then back up at him. "If you wanted power this is surley not the way to get it, I thought you were smarter, I thought you were better!" Hayumi stood besides Daiku "I will not be on the same side of a demon." She growled, her eyes glaring at him but really she was fighting back the tears that once again someone she trusted and loved was becoming a monster.

Daiku growled when the others made a threatening approach, glaring back at Xinal,"you mean the rivalry that almost got everyone killed?!" He stood high and raised his head, leting his fur bristle, his large wings arching in a way the made him look larger than he really was, almost to intimidate the others, nobody has seen how strong he had become since he defeated one of the most powerful wolves as a pup. He hoped this would strike a little fear into them, maybe quell the uprising before it really staarted. Once he saw the spikes fly at him, he barely tilted himself and let them fly past. "So it's a fight you want?!" he snarld, giving a light stomp, but it sent large fissures coursing throuogh the ground and made a heavy earthquake with a mere tap of his paw. many of the fissures threatend to swallow some of the wolves. "get back Hayumi... I don't want you hurt..." he he gave a sharp bark, "Stay back Freya! don't get into this."

Hayumi let out a shrill yelp, she knew Xinal was bad but she couldn't stand seeing him getting hurt. "Daiku, please.. Violence is not the way. I-" Hayumi felt her words had no meaning and seemed almost useless even to herself. She took in a sharp breath and stepped back before looking at Xinal, her eyes showing the saddest apology "I'm so sorry that you have become what you are now." She whished she could've stopped him from turning into this, but she didn't.

Xinal glared back at him. "Sure... join packs." He takes a steps forward, "However, no matter how righteous an individual is, the corruption of power is overwhelming!" Xinal flicks a gray tail to emphasize the point. His fur bristling as if to size him up. "You may be the all-righteous luna wolf, but I can expect you will eventually feel the urge to take it all for yourself. This will also affect Freya, and I want to protect her too from that power."

"Xinal! What are you doing? If you wanted power this is surley not the way to get it, I thought you were smarter, I thought you were better!"

Xinal closed his eyes looks over to the other winged wolf. He opens his maw to reply but he closes it. He has nothing to say in his defense.

"I will not be on the same side of a demon."

He looks up to her with the eyes of the old Xinal, a slight blue catching in the highlights of his pupil. It's gone as soon as he blinks.

"So it's a fight you want?! Get back Hayumi... I don't want you hurt..."

"That will be the best. I don't want to see you hurt either Hayumi." A soft voice resonates from his throat. Xinal drops down lowering his stance. Something about it would look familiar for anyone who fought against Granger. He growls slowly as his now gleaming red eyes bore into Daiku's, "Get ready."

In the distance the rebelling wolves call up another volley waiting for the order to strike.

Freya already ran to Daiku's side. "No! We all have flaws but we can become better only by actually confronting them!" When Xinal didn't respond to her anymore she growled only to hear:

"Stay back Freya! don't get into this."

Freya looked at Daiku before stepping back along side Hayumi. "I don't get it. What happened to him?" She asked to Hayumi but in fact it was more rhetorical in nature. She notices the posture change of the rebelling wolves.

"All black division and blue division form up! Form defensive perimeter around cubs, mothers(is there a name for wolf mothers?) and elders. Bring them to the Red Division! Red and Blue Division escort them and get to safety. Black Division hold our ground while they escape. We need you all safe!"

Freya lowers her head after her barks. She growls in frustration, "And I thought today was gonna be peaceful. Hayumi, looks like it's you and me. Unless you can make it back to the blue division and escort the others out."

((So sorry again.))

Hayumi felt her eyes began to wate a little "This isn't you, whatever this is. But I know its not worth your life." She whimpered towards Xinal pleadingingly. But before she could say anything else Freya began to talk to her "I don't know what happened to him, but I'll help you." She mutterd as the hurt she-wolf walked over to the Blue Division and began to walk them out.

(I think they are called Den Mothers)

Xinal glared at Daiku, "Look I don't want you nor Freya especially to be lead to this corruption." He whimpered, by the tone of the voice it sounded like the old Xinal, "Please, let's talk this through."

A few seconds later he would issue a bark in a commanding tone the way Granger would have. "Let's begin."

Hayumi let out a worrying sigh before she corraled the last Blue Division wolf with the others. "Done." She muttered, her ears still back as she attempted to block out the sounds of the world, not wanting to catch any whimpers of defeat from her former friend Xinal or from Daiku.

(Sorry for the late reply, a lot's been on my mind lately!)

Leara was panicking, but she tried to stay cool. "Blue Division, that's me, right?" she twisted and turned in fear. Leara did her best to try and help the pack, but she was worried about Freya and Daiku as well.

Freya spotted Leara wandering off from the blue division. "yes, you're blue division! Now go along with them. It's going to be a bit messy here." The alpha glances around trying to map out the area in her head.

Daiku gave off a snarl as he heard Xinal speak, trying to figure out how to defeat him without harming him. But before long, a something clicked that allowed him to remember he previous battles. His key to victory, the very weapon that protected him during his battle against Granger: The Diamond Armor. His only problem was, he had to manipulate all elements to pull that off, which took a lot of concentration. He suddenly shot up the earth in front of him as if an explosion went off, taking a leap back he planted himself firmly on the ground and focused hard, it was tough, but fortunantly for him he was able to pull it off, partially, his paws, claws, and most of his legs were covered before he lost focus, but having part of the armor was better than none, and he quickly bended the daimond into a even larger, intimidating claw.

"Insubordination..." he said raking the claw along the ground, "Treason, an act the is punished by none other than death." he said giving a death glare at the others who had dared fired upon him, he created time, his problem wasn't his concentration, there just wasn't enough daimond in this area to cover him like it did when he was a pup, but he was pulling it to him, from other distant locations. "You really sure you all wish to pursue this path?"

Hayumi looked back one last time and saw Daiku "Daiku no!" She yepled, he couldn't possibaly kill Xinal, and she defiantly couldn't watch him die. Hayumi looked franticly at Freya "We have to intervine, I am positive that this is not Xinal, please Freya!" She begged, her eyes getting ready to water.
