Balto felt like he was needed so he lunged at Steele and said on top of him, "Don't you ever! Touch one of us again! Or I swear I will kill you dog!" He then chased Steele away. He ran up to Taka and said, " Please get up. Please!" He lay over his body almost crying.

Taka could hear Baltos voice but it seemed like it was coming from so far away.Then he heard another voice,the voice of his long dead twin brother Ice talking to him "go back taka its not youre time yet,go back" it said and gradually ices voice grew fainter and Baltos voice grew stronger,with great effort Taka opened his eyes "balto" he said in a hoarse whisper.

"Taka! I thought you were gone!" He nuzzled him, " I'll help you get up ok?" He asked and pulled him up. Balto's muscles were tensing because Taka was so heavy.

"Im fine" Taka muttered he remembered what his brother had said when hed injured himself in a similar fashion don't overexert yourself and im afraid trying to kill shadow goes under the title of overexertion"im gonna find and kill Steele" he muttered finally managing to stand on his own four paws

Maura turned to the dog talking to Taka. "Who, your pup?" She turned to her new boyfriend. "Taka, we've got to help her!" Maura would do anything for pups.

"Come on!" She yelled, bounding down the hill to the city. She had never been near mankind before, and was finding it challenging to avoid their large paws. The smell of smoke filled her lungs and she sneezed, but ignore it and dashed into the blazing house. A small wailing noise caught her attention, and she nosed through wood planks, throwing them out of the way. The smoke was filling her lungs, and she continued to cough...

"No." Maura choked out. "I got her!" She lifted a little bundle of fur out from under the planks. "Here!" She quickly tossed the pup to Jenna, and pushed her out of the house just as a part of it collapsed, trapping Maura inside. She coughed, but the smoke had already poisoned her lungs. She felt naucious, and her eyes flickered shut, as she collapsed to the floor.

OOC:sorry guys my computers been playing up since last night.(its rosy inside the house,you know the little girl)
Taka raced up to the house he then saw Jenna "hey where's Maur?" he asked urgently he sniffed the air and the horrible realisation that Maura was still inside,he raced into the house and crashed into a burning plank "Maur! are you still in here? Maur!" he yelled

Jenna grabbed the pup and put her down out side. She then ran to the back of the house got in the burning building, and pulled Rosie out of it.
