Dess wagged her tail and bounced at the sound of Lou's whistle. "Oh boy!" She rushed over to Lou and jumped. But yet, deep inside Dess, she was confused. She had used to be so hating and angry at the world. But not anymore. She was acctually happy! And while all this pleased her very much, she still had to wonder. What was Lou doing different that her other owners had not? Dess lowered her ears and stopped bouncing.

Lou frowned, this was going to be pretty hard, the group seemed pretty hyper, but who wouldn't be after coming to a new house. 'Come on then, I suppose I had better show you round to your kennels' she said, and started towards the back of the house. She had set ap a large fenced in area with several really big kennels, so some of the dogs would have to share.
Faith followed Lily, sticking close to her, a slight breeze ruffled her fur and made her shiver. 'It's getting really cold, and dark' she whispered.

Blue followed them, her tail wrapped around her raven black legs, they radiated a bluish purple glow.She peeked a glance her at Arken and jerked her head forward, hoping he didn't hear her from earlier.

Arken wagged his tail firmly to Lilly "for your 1st try, you did great" he said then watched the others bounced twoards Lou as she was leading them to the kennels. He watched quietly before walking to the house and circling it before going to the front gate and began walking in wide circles befoe sitting besides the mailbox at the left corner of the front fence of the feild and laid down. He was going to do what he did best, guard his friends and his new home and owner. His eyes remained ever vigilent to the road, earspoised to catch any sounds that would upturn as the others slept.

Dess followed Lou and wagged her tail, sniffing the kennels. She turned her head and saw Arken laying alone by the mailbox. Dess frowned and bounded over to him. She smiled,"Why are you laying over here all alone? There are plenty of kennels, you know." She sat down and looked up at the sky, the clouds rolling by.

Arken glanced up at Dess and smiled softly, sitting up in respect "oh.. yea, i just prefer the outdoors and ill be guarding you and the others you know?" he smiled and licked her snout lightly "but you should rest up, you deserve it" he said honestly and passed her a gentle smile, slightly wagging his tail.

Blue winced her eyes in heart break, she realy liked him..but he didn't feel the same, he liked Dess.So she wanted him to be happy.She curled up in her kennel, which was for some reason one of the smallest of them and fell asleep.

Dess smiled and nodded, whispering,"Well, alright. See you tomorrow." She turned around and slowly trotted back to the kennels. She walked into one not yet occupied and curled up, closing her eyes, slowly falling asleep.

Lily looked up at the sky and the rolling clouds. She smelled the air. "Smells like rain," she commented right before the first few drops fell. The rain was frezzing cold, so Lily began running to the kennels. She as she ran, she said to Faith, "It doesn't look like there are enough kennels for everyone. Do you want to share?" She expected the answer to be yes so she ran into the one of the kennels and waited for Faith to come in out of the rain that was slowly falling harder.

Raven looked at the sky as the rain began to come down. She laid her head back on her paws as the droplets began to come down faster. She looked at the kennels to watch the last few dogs run into their kennels to get out of the rain. She rolled her eyes at them. Then she saw Lucifer slowly making his way to the kennels, far from the rest of the group. "Where you going?" she called after him. "Afraid of a little rain?" she taunted him. She hadn't teased someone in a long time and it felt good to finally get some of it out.

Faith yipped as rain fell cold and hard onto her fur. She dashed towards the kennel that Lily was in, stopping just outside and shaking herself down before settling next to her friend.
Lou yawned, it had been a long day and everyone looked tired. I'll tell them tomorrow she thought as she hurried inside to get out of the rain it's too late now.

Raven settled herself deeper into a laying position on the wood pile. I'm planning on staying right here all night, all tomorrow, and probably the rest of my time here." She looked away from here. I don't plan on becoming a dog with an owner. That's just not me."

Arken watched the others silently and shook his fur as the dew ounced from his thick fur. He stood up as the water ran along his nose bridge and fell of his nose tip as he walked around the entrance of the farm. He walked to the kennels, glancing in to make sure eveyone was settled in. Then he continued his walk away, nodding a greeting to Raven who lay on the wood pile before continue his patrol.

Blue heard voices behind her and she moved slightly to the left at Lucifer's voice "Eh.." She moaned, the voicesd kept her awake and she was sore from running and being the the car.She soon put her ears down-hoping that would stop the noise-and fell asleep.
