Hasuke smiled, folding her hands into her kimono sleeves. "And he is so young too." she looked down at the lady in waiting, who's face had recovered its life and her eyes now open.
Rosa hugged the doorway as she stopped. She looked down in shock as Rex rubbed up against her legs. "That thing was huge! How-what?" she kneeled down, picking him up.

"Oni are energy." said Terra walking in. "He ate the energy that made up the Oni, destroying it." she said.
Rex wagged his tail, licking Rosa's face. Momma!

Hasuke nodded. "That's exactly right, Tera." she said softly, ad then turned to Suzuku. "And...was there not something you wished to talk to me about?"
Rosa nodded with a giggle, nuzzling him. "Yes, Rex. You did a very good job." she said.
Yuki looked up at Suzuku, holding his arm gently.

Rex purred like a little kitten. Momma!
Terra nodded. "He might be a baby but he's a powerful little one."
"Me and Yuki were wondering if we could go to dinner in town once my shift is over." said Suzuku.

Rosa nodded, cuddling him deep into her kimono sleeves. "I'm going to teach you some new words tomorrow." she said softly.
Hasuke nodded, smiling at the two. "Tera and your comrade can handle protecting Rosa-go right ahead."
Yuki smiled, bowing her head low. "Thank you, Milady."

Rex giggled. Thirsty. he said, using another word but also wanting some water.
Suzuku bowed as well. "Thank you my lady." he said. "I must go change into my public outfit."

Rosa nodded, taking Rex down the hall, where basins of water were stored. Grabbing one, she placed it by the Shisa and set Rex down to drink.
"As do I." said Yuki, heading off down the hall, to her own room to change.

Rex started lapping up water. He wagged his tail as he did so.
"He's an adorable cub." said Tera. "And I'm certain he'll be a beutiful adult."
Suzuku nodded. He bowed to Hasuke. "Thank you my lady." he said. He then looked at the lady who had been under the power of the Oni that Rex had eaten. "Will she be alright?"

"Oh no worries." Hasuke looked down at the lady. "She will be fine. The Oni's power over her caused her soul to weaken, and make her ill. She is recovering." she smiled softly. "This lady should be well by morning." a soft chuckle came form her. "That's usually the pattern, which is why young Yuki took off-she seems to have an eye for you, young samurai."
Rosa crouched down slowly, smiling broadly. "Yes, he will."

Rex looked up at Rosa and licked her nose. He then whimpered and went over to the door and scratched at it like a dog would do when it had to go out.
"I think he needs to use the bath room." said Tera.
Suzuku nodded. He walked to his room to switch to his public appearence but would keep his sword with him.

Rosa nodded, getting up and sliding the door open. "Poor thing."
Yuki smiled, coming out of her room in a more common garb. However, it had the Hakaze crest right above her heart, as all the common clothing the other ladies possessed.

Rex ran to a tree and relieved himself, lifting his leg like a dog would. He finished and ran back to his mother.
"Even mythological creatures have needs." said Tera. "Though it seems he takes care of part of that by spitting up gem stones."
Suzuku switched into a samurai's public clothes and out of his chainmail. He'd always keep the sword on him, you never know when you'll need something.

Rosa couldn't help but laugh, bending down and picking up Rex in her arms. "It seems so...I'm just very glad he doesn't cough up hairballs."
Yuki smiled softly, leaving her room and walking down the hall.

Rex cuddled close to her, purring.
"He's an amazing creature." said Tera. "Who knows what he'll be like when he grows up." she said, petting his head.
Suzuku walked out of his room and headed to meet her.

Rosa smiled, cuddling Rex in return. "Oh, he's such a sweet boy."
Yuki walked down, looking about for Suzuku. She stopped where she supposed they would meet.
