Nica had stopped crying and was now smiling. "Just like Cura said, He, Momma, and Rico are alive." She nuzzled Balto. "My daddy used to tell me, that he would leave, I knew he was getting older for a cat. He told me he had liver disease. Its better to die than suffer." Nica tried to make Balto feel better about her fathers death. "He's thanking the hunter for keeping him from suffering. I can feel it" She nuzzled Balto again.

Ooc: Nica frogets her kit days when she grows up. She thinks that her parents left her on the boat.

"The race training is about to start." Steele said obsurving the town square. "I best go, go and mess with the cat" He said. Unknowing of Flash's death.

Kaltag made sure Steele had walking into nonhearing distance. "Lets go see if Balto's okay?" He asked Star and Nikki. "Put snow on your ears Star, it stops the burn." He said throwing snow at Stars face.

OOC: Steele isn't there yet. Lets do that thing that Steele did in the begining of the rp. Like Balto tells Nica to go to sleep and he walks into town to watch the races.

OOC: Alright but Steele's lackies won't interfer alright?

"Thanks Nica." said Balto. "I've got some things I need to do alright? I won't you to take a nap and I'll close the hole so no one can get to you alright?" he asked, nuzzling her.

Aniu took on the fox form and came in, pretending to be Cura. "I'll watch her Balto." she said. "If she'd like that."

OOC: Could the trio or Jenna warn Balto so that this ends up costing Steele the race so he doesn't make the sled team as lead dog? That way it ends up making Steele have a better reason to be mean to Balto?

Aniu waited for Balto to leave and then went into Nica's dreams. She appeared as her true self. "Hello Nica." she said, petting the kit's head with her paw.

Balto walked into town and started towards the races.

Once Steele was out of earshot Star turned to Kaltag. "We can't really let Steele do that to Balto can we?" he whispered. "That could really hurt him."

OOC: The trio I guess, But does Steele still hurt Balto?

"I don't know" Kaltag said staring at his cousin. "Its bad enough being his cousin. I HAVE to do what he says." He sighed. "I don't like hurting Balto just as much as you guys." He whimpered.

"Who are you?" Nica asked the white wolf. She lay down and rolled in her flowers.

OOC: Not seriously, maybe a burn or two.

"But what if we tell those two gossips and say its a secret? They CAN'T keep a secret and Balto would find out." said Nickie.

Aniu smiled. "I am Balto's mother, Aniu." she said. "I'm watching over you and him, your mother went to be with Rico but that's a reasonable need isn't it?" she asked. "So until I find someone to take over as your spirit guide, I will be but you have to keep it a secret alright." she said, making a shush motion.

Ooc: Let one of your charries tell Balto. I am kinda clueless about wht you wanna do.

"I don't know Jullie" Jenna answered her sister. She knew now Steele was the worst dog ever.

Steele caught site of Balto and raced up to him. "Hey buddy! I got a gift for you in the Boiler room!" He barked, sounding friendly to Balto.

"Really?" Nica asked. "Who was Uncle Balto's daddy?"

"There he is with Balto." said Jullie, pointing. "Distract him somehow." she said.

OOC: Could we see Jenna use some of the stuff she uses in the real boiler room scene with Steele? Flirting with him to distract him.

Balto was still not convinced. "And no tricks? You're not going to beat me up?"

"Me and him both got killed by hunters saving Balto." said Aniu, sighing. "I love Balto, I wish I was still there for him." she said. "He was the only one of my litter to survive." she said. "He was such a happy pup though, so much energy."
