Shane nodded in response, and trotted off. He yawned on the way home, shaking his ruff.

Rochelle moved into the shadows of the den, curling into a ball quietly, expecting only to sleep a few hours.

The sun rose high over the trees, a welcoming sight to a sleep-denied Shane. He sighed, standing up and stretching his muscles, yawning from lack of sleep. He slowly made his way over to Rochelle's, hoping shed slept more than him.

Rochelle was wide awake when he arrived, she had just gotten back from a trip to town and she'd been up for hours.

Shane shoo himself awake as he did every morning, and trotted into Rochelle's view.
"Morning beautiful." he greeted.

Rochelle smiled seeing Shane.
"Well good mornin," she chimed, padding over to him.

Shane smiled and began trying to shake the sleep away as he shook himself.
"Where've you been? In town?" he asked, seeing she was wide awake.

"Hmm? oh yea, took a quick trip to see how the twins were doing," she said. "I got up early, heaven only knows why." she chuckled.

Shane chuckled weakly, smiling.
"Well, good for you." he replied.

"Hmm." Rochelle chuckled and licked his cheek. "Sleep well?" she asked with a tilt of her head.

Shane smiled, though he shook his head.
"Not the best sleep I've had..haven't really slept since I got back," he admitted with a shrug.

Rochelle titled her head. "Really..? How come..?"

"Just..dreams." He said quietly. "It's fine, really. nothing to worry about, love!" Shane insisted.

Rochelle tilted her head the opposite way, but nodded. "If you say so.."

Shane chuckled, flipping the tip of his tail.
"Im fiiiine~" He reassured her.
