Tara smiled and held his hand when she found it, finally. Then she said, "So.. My name's Tara, and this is Chase."

"We know..." Tara blushed. "We kinda read both of your files... we came out here looking for you because of them. They said you were both captured before and..."

Shane shivered at the thoughts of when they were captured, tormented by the memories.

"It's a long story involving grand theft auto but I won't get into that..." she explained quickly. "But we have a cellphone with files on everyone that's been captured, and it said you two escaped."

Shane clenched his eyes shut.

Tara nodded, quickly understanding. "Right, sorry." she said. "But, we'd like for you both to come with us..." After a small pause, she added, "We have a place to stay for you and your son and all we want is to ask you some stuff, if that's okay."

Shane sniffed and hugged him tighter, a silent thanks.
