Tara rolled her eyes. Then she waved a hand, effortlessly created a sudden burst of wind to knock the garbage can out of Zacky's hands with ease.

When Shane heard the crash of the garbage can lid, he began chewing on his thumbnail in worry, thinking there was a fight about to happen.
"Yes I did that." Tara answered nonchalantly. Then she turned to Chase. "Show him yours, Chasie." she said.

When the sound of the spear piercing the lid rang in the air, Shane couldn't help it. He gritted his teeth in anger and worry, and when he heard that sound he jumped to his feet, ran out around the front and blinded Chase and Tara with the brightest light he could create, trying to fend them off.

Shane nodded, his light now fading as he saw that his dad was okay. "Yeah, I'm okay..." he said with wide eyes. "Are you okay Daddy? I heard crashing, and, I was worried..."

Shane swallowed and hugged his dad tighter, still not entirely trusting them.
