Zero was ignoring him now and upped his speed to running. He was out of sight in a few seconds.

He'll be back Ricky thought to himself getting up rubbing his muzzle.

I don't want to see that punk ever again. Who the hell does he think he is?! Zero kicked a rock, growling furiously. I'm just going to keep going and won't stop.

"Hey guys" Ricky called back to the group who were most likely awake by now.

"Hey Ricky" Charlie called back "No Zero?"

Zak was just getting up, stretching and yawning.

"He got mad at a small joke I did so he wanted to be alone for a little bit."

Zak raised an eyebrow. "I don't think he'd get angry over a small joke. How small is small to you?"

"I told him you'd kill him and the idiot believed me."

Zak stared at him a moment then shook his head. "Ricky, that is not a small joke."

"I didn't expect him to believe me like that."

"How serious did you sound and what exactly did you tell him?"

"You know me I can sound pretty dam convincing."

Zak sat down. "So think about it, and I mean really think about it. If you can sound convincing, and I'm his friend, and you're telling him something that serious, plus how he trusts you because you're his traveling companion, how do you think he is going to feel? You go on walks with him whenever you guys are awake, even when we are, you guys are... Well, were for all we know, close."

"He'll get over it he knows for a fact that I am a jokster and a prankster a bit. I am a Barkin."

"Even CHARLIE doesn't touch jokes like that you idiot!" Zak barked. He shook his head. "You just don't get people obviously. Unlike you I'm actually someone who CARES for his well being. I'm going to go talk to him." Zak growled, starting to go where Ricky came from.
