OK, here's something REALLY funny for anyone who watches Fullmetal Alchemist in Japanese. John is played by the same person who played Roy Mustang, Toru Okawa.

And for the record, Okawa-san also played Tinky Winky, Cookie Monster, and Kehaar in the Japanese dubs of Teletubbies, Sesame Street, and Watership Down.

I have watched thirteen episode but I didnt cry when Sakura died only when another good guy characters do for some reason. Yes, I think that it's a kick butt anime cartoon!

Okay, this was something about the Ginga fanbase that really annoys me. Anyone who's a member of GingaSite.net or even just lurks should know what I'm talking about. One of the members(someone named CrunchB I think) is going through all of this effort, e-mailing, physically mailing, even calling all these different companies that could possibly dub the anime or translate the manga. Not only is practically everyone there ANNOYED with this person's dedication to something that they all love, but they're completely pessimistic about it and refuse to take any hint of good news about this as if it's actually good news, coming up with every single argument they could think of that could suggest a lack of profit in the US.

"Well, it's about dogs, and NOBODY takes dogs seriously! The story is childish and preachy, but it's too violent to be a kiddie show!" Okay, one example can disprove ALL of this stuff.

Have you ever heard of a book series called Warriors? Hm, feral companion animals, simplistic "good vs. evil" story, very violent, and despite all those factors that are supposed to equal fail in Ginga's case, it's said to have outsold Harry Potter. Okay, so what I'm seeing here is "wild cats=awesome story" and "wild dogs=stupid, no one will like it". Yeah, that makes a whole ton of sense.
