Heather sobbed and tried to get him off of her, "Stop! Stop it!" She cried, trying to kick him off of her again. "Please, find your humanity!" She begged, kicking him hard in the jaw.

THe kick in the jaw only made him pause for a moment, he went right back to trying to get her shirt off.

"Where is she!" Atticus repeated.

THe boss laughed, "behind that locked door.."

Atticus threw him aside and raced over to the door, he slammed into it and burst it aside. Tommy instantly stood off of Heather and pulled a gun. Atticus however lunged and grabbed the gun. It went off and he got hit in the side but he didnt stop fighting until he had snapped Tommy's neck and let him fall to the floor. He gripped his side and staggered but then he looked at Heather and rushed over to her.

Heather looked at Atticus and started crying even harder, she looked at his bullet wound and felt herself shake all over. Heather grabbed him and looked at his wound "We need to get you too the hospital." She said, trying to mask the terror in her voice.

He looked at his hand which had blood on it, then he wiped it on his pant leg. "No I'm fine, I-I've been shot before, it's just a graze, not a bullet wound.' He took her face gently in his hands "Are you alright?!" he asked.

Heather felt more tears, and she shook her head "No. That b*stard almost r*ped me." She shiver uncontrollably and collapsed into his arms. "I'm scared Atticus, I'm scared." She sobbed, hugging him tightly.

Atticus Held her tightly, "I-I know... it's alright now Heather... he-he's dead..." The young man assured turning his head and softly kissed her cheek.

Heather tried to calm herself. She started counting backwards, and then eventually was able to keep her breathing steady. "We need to leave. Please, right now." Heather said, standing and looking for a way out.

"Yeah... C'mon Heather..." he sighed taking her by the hand and leading her out into the actual warehouse where a few dead, mafia members laid. There where about six dead men, once the others had seen how strong Atticus actually was, they had raced off, some on foot, some on motor-bikes. Atticus instantly led her toward the open garage door that the men had used to escape.

"Ghost." the sudden call made him pause and look over his shoulder. The gang boss stood, as straight as he could, his face bruised and bloody from his encounter with Atticus. The other man, Tommy, came walking out of the room and stood next to his employer. What?! I thought he was dead! Atticus thought. It hadn't occurred to him, that he had just played dead. Atticus held Heather close, in a protective way. "Ghost, this ain't over. You're gonna pay, we'll be back."

"Then I'll be waiting." Atticus snarled. then he quickly lead heather out the door knowing those two men wouldn't follow.

The sight of Tommy made Heather shiver with wild fear. Her eyes connected with his black, soulless, ones and she felt like curling up and dying. She stood closely to Atticus, and then fallowed next to him when he pulled her along. Forget eating, forget it all. She wanted her parents. But she could never tell them what happened, she could never tell anyone.

“Where do we go now? They’re going to find us again, where’s a safe place?” Heather asked as she raced alongside Atticus.

"We'll go back to my house, Mafia members never venture downtown, they'd be recognized by the police." he said looking back at her.

Heather nodding quickly, "Do you have a car?" She asked.

He looked at her and nodded, "Yeah it's over here.." he said walking over to a tree line. He led her through the trees until an old bright red, ford mustang came into sight. Atticus released her hand and opened the door for her then he went and got in the drivers seat.

Heather crawled in the car, she was shaking. She hadn't realized how scared she was until she actually sat down. She could still feel Tommy's hand trace over her ribcage, she could still smell his breath on her skin. Heather continued to shiver frantically, she wrapped her arms around her chest and looked out the window.

Atticus glanced over at her, he didn't know how to comfort her, so he started the car. It roared to life as he sped off out of the trees and back to his apartment. They arrived within about fifteen minutes. Atticus got out of the car then he went around to help heather. His shirt stained with blood, he decided he needed to change but he could wait. He opened the door and extend his hand for Heather to take "C'mon Heather... it's alright now..." he assured softly.

Heather snatched up his hand and got out of the car quickly. She closed the door behind her, she hadn't realized that she was still crying until just now. Heather wiped her face and looked at the ground.
