"A cat?" Sydney questioned, raising an eyebrow at the animal.

"Not a cat... my cat." Scotty corrected looking back down at the orange creature, he noticed the darker orange stripes that ran down his back and tail. "His name's Rusty."

"I'll fees hk to the dog." Sydney warned, glaring down at the creature.

The cat looked up at Sydney, from his bowl of milk, and gave a bored meow.

"Awww Sis don't be like that!" Scotty teased.

Rusty rose to his paws and simply invited himself in, he made his way casually past Scotty and over to Sydney where he began purring and rubbing his head against her legs. He'd occasionally pause to swat at her shoe laces or simply roll over and lay on her feet.

Sydney reached down and stroked the cat-she always been great with animals, and smiled.
"Just kiddin'.." She hummed, allowing the cat to lay on her feet.

Rusty simply purred in reply as he swatted playfully at her shoe laces.

"Scotty, I thought you hated cats?" Leann smirked.

"I said I disliked them there's a difference." he replied looking at Sydney and Rusty.

"So if you dislike them then why do you have one?" Sydney questioned, carefully nicking Rusty up and setting him in her lap so she could stroke him.

"Cause I found him fighting with a raccoon, I mean it's a gladiator cat! That's so cool!"

"Meow..." was Rusty's blunt reply as he settled onto Sydney's lap.

"B'aaaw.." Sydney cooed, playing with rusty's tail lightly.

Rusty turned and perked his ears, he watched his own tail intently before he started to playfully swat at Sydney's hand.

"Plus he's still a kitten, he's no older then a year." Scotty stated.

Sydney laughed, squeezing the cat's paw.
"He's sooo cute." she commented.

Rusty perked curiously when she squeezed his paw, he jerked his paw back and watched her hand silently, then started swatting at her again.

"I dunno if Dad would lemme keep him, that's why I've been feeding him milk outside on the porch for the past month now." Scotty said.

"Oh.." Sydney frowned, poking his paw again as he swatted at it.

He meowed with delight and continued to attempt to catch her hand.

Scotty watched them silently, then Adam spoke "He wouldn't say no, if Sydney asked him." the red-head concluded.

"My thoughts exactly Adam." Sydney agreed, patting Rusty's head.
