David snarled at Temple and asked angrily "So what she-dog?" He calmed down and shook his head. He looked into Temple's eyes and smiled. He said sincerely "I'm sorry Temple for every insult that I threw your way but I'm afraid of love. I didn't want to get attached to you but I guess all of my insults and almost killing you as many times as I did weren't enough." He shook his head and asked "Are you as afraid of love as I am Temple? By the way my name's David."

David nodded his head and said "I must have been out of it then but it's nice to finally be able to talk to you nicely. You know you are quite beautiful when I'm not trying to kill you."

David sighed and said depressingly "I'm sorry Temple. I shouldn't have said that to you because it seems like it's bothering you."

David shook his head and said sorrowfully "We both need to just calm down because deep inside we both knew this was bound to happen." He sighed sadly.

David moved over to a corner of the kennel and sat. He looked out and said under his breath "I'm sorry sister. I failed you. I told you that I wouldn't let anything happen to you but I lied. What choice do I have other than stay with Temple and help her out?"
