"Alright," Setsuko said as Rue neared, "Ready for the actual fixing part?" She glanced from the pile of branches to the top of the roof.

"Yeah," Rue said, flying the short length to the roof. She looked down at Setsuko. "COming?"

"Obviously," Setsuko replied. She grabbed a branch and jumped nimbly to the top of the old cabin beside Rue. "Ok, so which one need fixing the most?"

"I think that one does," RUe said, pointing to one off her left. She began to lay branches across it.

Setsuko scanned over Rue's work. It needed something...she couldn't quite place her finger on it, but the hole seemed to not be patched as well as it should be. She walked over to it, light on her feet so as to to damage the roof more than it already was. Up close, it hit her. She remover a few branches and then worked them in more carefully, like weaving with wood. She looked at it satisfactorily when she finished. The patch looked much more...protecting down. Harder to break. Setsuko moved on to another hole.

Rue observed the hole after Setsuko was done with it. She had to admit it did looke more secure now. She moved on to a hole near the one Setsuko was working on, trying to imitate the way she had almost seemed to weave the wood together.

Setsuko glanced up at Rue, who seemed to be watching exactly what she did. "Weaving the wood isn't that hard," Setsuko pointed out. "All you have to do is....well, this," She showed Rue how to twine the branches so that they where tangled securely, and stuck to the roof.

Rue nodded, trying it out. It wasn't as tightly woven as Setsuko's, but better than before. "Huh. Never seen anyone weave wood before. Maybe grass." she said.

"Quite frankly, I've never done it before," Setsuko admitted. "But I noticed that these small branches are pretty bendy, so I could tangle them up to make a secure patch. It was a bit similar to the weaving I sometimes do at home with Mother, only a little more....stiff. And big," She added.

"I see. It's pretty cool how you did it though," she complimented.

Setsuko shrugged. "Thanks. Now let's get back to work." She moved to the second-to-last hole and began weaving branches.

Rue finsihed the hole she was working on, then moved on to the last one. She carefully weaved the branches together over the hole until it was covered with a small patch of twigs and leaves. And the possible bug.

"Alright!" Said Setsuko, hopping down from the roof. "I think that'll do it. Just one more thing..." She entered the cabin and began rearranging the blankets. In the end, three where sprawled out on the floor. On top of two was one more, folded neatly.

Rue followed Setsuko down, her wings making the fall slow as they caught the air. She landed lightly and walked inside, the blankets arranged. "Nice job," she said.

Setsuko grinned widely. "They're beds!" She said just for the heck of it. "See, we have extra blankets, one to lay on, one to be under. And Jaci just has one to lay on--" Which he already was, "--because he has fur."
