"Calm down Nook! Stay still a minute!" she instructed. "I need to be able to see if there is a way to get this open..." she siad, the last part more of a mumble. She scrutinized the cage, searching for a lock, something she could break open. She clawed at the bars, leaving a slight nick.

Vetch stuck a claw through the bars and clicked the lock on Nook's muzzle.

"First, they threw me in this dark room with rabid dogs," whimpered Nook. "Then, they took me back and tied me against a wall, stabbing me with these long, pointy sticks. Then, they took me down and made me walk on a skinny plank over a big bowl of something hot and bubbly and smelly. They pushed me into it anyway, but I hung onto the board for dear life, then they took the board with me attached to it and slammed it against the wall. And now..." he collapsed from exhaustion. "...Now they said that they installed this chip in me while I was passed out, and they will use it to track me and you guys. So I have to go! For everyone's sake! Just kill me now!"

Ooc:// Yeah, I was sledding on a golf course and even though I don't remember, people say that the sled flipped over and I fell on my face. I had to go to the hospital and everything. Catscans are scary, by the way!!

One tree reached out a shining, steel branch and waved it around Nook like a metal detector. Suddenly, the branch was pulled towards Nook's front paw. I believe we've found it. said the trees as they made the branch peel off a layer of steel, revealing a flat chisel-looking thing. This will not hurt, we promise. they said as they touched it to Nook's skin, the microchip then materializing on the end of the branch, completely pain-free. Now we must destroy it. said the trees.
Vetch stepped on the chip, small electric beams letting loose and the branches of the trees absorbing them. He lifted his paw again, and the chip was in pieces. "There." he said with pride.
Now discard of the remains. said the trees.
