Angelica noticed that no one had welcomed her. "g'mornin'." she grumbled. she shighed and sat down on the couch. she didn't know what to do. she let her hair drop across her face.

Noah nodded to her. "Good morning," he said. "Sleep well?"

He looked around and tapped his foot, waiting for the rest of their group to appear. "Once everyone's down here," he said, "We'll decide who should set out and who will hold down the fort here. Angelica, I think you should come with the foraging party. We need those rifles you mentioned last night."

(OOC: Husky, the cure's got to be something they'd think of doing. And if someone stayed in the water all night, they'd die of hypothermia.)

Yawning and stretching then quietly slinking downstairs Angel stood directly behind Noah.

"Good morning my generous hosts and hostesses. Foraging party sounds fun but the person with the hurt leg could use a computer chair to romp around in. Help him get around a bit more steadily. Seeing that we have one out of comission, what is everyone's skill set? Anything anyone is really good at?"

The questions and ideas were presented to Noah with a curt and polite nod to the other people. Angel's shyness made her far more likely to stick to whomever she met first until she found friends and often hide behind her "safe" person physically. She was dressed in everything but her black coif since the glimmer from her hair would not matter in the bright light of day and she tentatively smiled while getting out her notebook so that she could figure out the strengths and weaknesses of the group.

Lia did not said anything. She wasn't really good at anything, well... Except if she gets totally scared and angry. Then she gets pretty strong. But she still couldn't knock down any of the monsters, so she stayed quiet. Suddenly, the girl remembered something. Her dog. She wondered where could she be. Pupsee usually stays around her owner, but now Lia couldn't see her dog. She quietly said,
"Umm, can I go upstairs for a second?" She said and without an answer ran upstairs and opened the door she was in before. Thankfully, her dog was here, sleeping. She woke her dog up, and walked off, knowing that she will follow her. And Pupsee did. "Just don't bark at anyone," She told her pug, and they both ran downstairs again.

Noah nodded, smiling awkwardly at Angel's Shakespearian dialogue. "I think before we work out specific skills we should figure out who's going out and who's staying in." He sized up the people there. "I think everyone can decide what to do for themselves, but I think we'll at least need Angelica to come with us hunting for supplies. We can start with her house. Jack, you'll be stuck here, I'm afraid, but we'll see if we can find you a computer chair like Angel said." He glanced at Andrea. "And I'm guessing you'll want to stay with him." Looking around, he asked, "So, who wants to stick around and who wants to head out?"

Andrea jumped up. "No, I don't. I want to go. " she smiled at Noah, then at Jack. "Sorry..." she said.

"It's okay." he winked. "Yeah, computer chair would be okay...But the computer itself would be thousand times better..." he said and laughed. He gave finished spears to Noah and rested his head on the wall, sighing.

Noah was surprised at Andrea's response, and startled by Angelica's. "Oh," he said slowly. "Well, OK. Anyone else? Opal, Devon?"

Lia got really confused of what she'll do when Noah said that they have to choose. Stay in home, or go with them? She actually didn't said anything. She was quietly choosing... Of course, here she would be safer, but if somehow... Somehow... The monsters got into house... Oh, whatever. She was about to begin to think that she should go with others, but she knew she was terribly risking again. I guess you should go, one part of her, how she called it - inner self, thought. Thought her other side, the calmer side was still in doubt. Deciding for her was so hard - Also the fact that she had, like two different sides didn't helped her. She sighed. I guess I'll just say nothing, maybe they won't notice me and leave me here... Then it wouldn't count as my decision, won't it?, Lia thought again.

Ooc: Please don't think that she's insane or something like that, she just has two different sides. (Actually, the char is based on me, so yeah. I have two different sides too).

Noah snapped his fingers, having just remembered something. "Oh, and who here is good with tools? It might be good to have them stay and supervise boarding up the windows."

Then he noticed Lia fidgeting. "Is something wrong?" he asked.

"No, everything is fine. " Lia lied, her voice being very quiet and a bit cold, like always. She was still wondering wherever to stay or to go. It wasn't an easy decision, hence the fact she would be risking her life anyway.

Noah frowned. This was getting nowhere fast, and time was of the essence. They might have all the day before them, but they had no way of knowing what was out there besides those creatures. And unless there was a car around they could still use, they'd be hoofing it.

Opal thought for a bit. Should she go, or stay?

"uhh..." She began. She grimaced as she considered staying. "I'd rather not s-" She cut herself off in mid-sentence "Ugh, I guess I should stay, I'm sure some of us have to stay behind." She finally decided, nodding stiffly. "I'll do whatever I can to make some use of myself."

Jack looked at Opal. "She's staying..." he thought and smiled widely. "So, only me and Opal here? Anyone else?" he asked, looking at his friends.

"I am all for heading out. If we are going to find another base then there is no point making this one more defensible. Lia, I would suggest you stay here, you seem able bodied and smart and if Jack has to be moved he will need two people to help him get anywhere fast."

Angel's grey-brown eyes were becoming clearer and more grey green by the moment. This what was she was good at; moving, fighting, strategy. She wiggled and stretched slightly checking to make sure that her outfit and equipment were in place but hidden. Some of those monsters knew what cold steel looked like and she didn't plan to advertise that she was harmful. She carefully jotted down who was staying and a quick description of each person so far and their names so that she would have her log when she forgot.
