Hailey nods silently, and lightly leans against him. Her ears are listening sharply as the hounds come even closer. The barking is louder and echoes across the lake. From narrow cave entrance, the two of them can see the Bloodhound leader sniffing furiously around the lake.

Zion breaths as quietly he can, he can hear haileys breathing get alittle heavy from the tention and puts his paw over her mouth "just relax we be ok, i make sure of it" he whispers very quietly

Hailey tries to quiet her breathing as she watches the hound walk around the lake.
"we know you're here!" the hound barks in a gruff voice. hailey tenses but relaxes, knowing that Zion is there with her, makes her feel better. Another hound, a female, joins the leader.

Zion pokes his head alittle up looking outside seeing many hounds and quickly ducks covering hailey and hoping they wont get seen.

"how many do you think there are?" Hailey whispers.
The hounds appear to be discussing something. The female hound glances toward the cave, but doesn't seem to notice Zion and Hailey hiding in it. Hailey can feel Zion's heart beating very fast. The pack of hounds splits up around the area, sniffing and baying. Hailey's heart pounds against her chest as the female hound walks closer to the cave, sniffing the sand and rocks.

Hailey swallows hard again. "Zion, one of the hounds is a couple steps away from the opening," she whispers urgently, Hailey's fur bristles a little. Now the hound is so close, neither of them want to breath. Gradually the hound backs away from the cave and the sound of the group's paws gets softer and farther away. hailey breathes a sigh of relief.

Breaths out "Few! that was close" he said in a loud whisper, he standsu p and peeks outside seeing the hounds slowly disapear. zion doesnt move till they very out of sight.
after a minuite zion steps out "Ok its safe"
