"What the h*ll..." Dev muttered and sat up, watchined as both Alaska and James raced out of the cave. He turned to Shay "what was that all about?" he asked quirked an eyebrow as he tried to pick up on Alaska's thoughts.

Alaska laye dher head on JAme's shoulder 'Stupid Matt, having to-to ruin me like this.WHy did he have to...Gah!Why didn't he walk away from me when he started to bleed, why didn't he-Why didn't I stop myself from killing him?' She thought, tears still flowing from her eyes slowly.

Alaska snuggled closer to him "Its just....Matt," She said his name in a whisper, the whole clan knew who Matt was, he was the normal boy that the Alaska killed when she was a new born.But luckily she got away with it."That was our song...." She whispered helplessly, her eyes trailing down to the dirt.

She frowned "Its okay.." She whispered.

Alaska winced slightly at her photographic memory "No, its okay.Promise." She kissed him softly and returned to the den, she sat close to the wall, turned away from the others.She sat there, thinking about how she felt after she killed him comapred to now.

Dev frowned as he read her thoughts, almost feeling her pain as he gathered the images in his mind. "Sorry Al.." Dev muttered as he rested a cheek on Shay's shoulder, not breathing. He almost felt jealous though, that Alaska had gotten away and he hadn't. Why couldn't he be so lucky?

Alaska smiled fakly "Its okay, its not your fault..I was stupid and wasn't thinking." SHe snuggled closer to James.
