"steele" whispered Taka not noticing Maurs new nickname for him,sniffed again but the wind was blowing from behind him so he coudnt smell anything,he breathed heavily he was not in the mood for this right now.
Steele took a couple of steps back,so the wolfdog had smelt him,it would just mean he was more alert.

Steele didnt answer he liked them not knowing precisely where he was he snickered quietly he managed to grip haold f anearby branch and pull himself up a tree "why should I leave you two lovebirds alone?" he sneered.
Taka knew excactly where Steele was as soon as he spoke and smiled "nice trick Steeley but haoware yougonna get back down?" he snickered.

OoC:sure cloudedwolf,just balto runs after Taka or something.
Taka howled with laughter at Maurs comment "I still want to know how hes gonna get back down." he eventually managed to say after hed stopped laughing."So Steeley" Taka was now addressing Steele "how are you going to get back down?" he laughed
"Shut up wolfdog" snapped Steele he moved forward and the branch creaked horribly he backed up,"Ummm,oh grizzly" he uttered in frustration

Taka grinned and sat down next to Maur "This is gonna be so much fun" he snickered "hey Steeley I thought you said dogs were better than wolves,so how come you're the one stuck up a tree?" he sneered
"I said shut up wolfdog" snarled Steele still wondering how he was going to get down.
Taka grinned then heard a twig snap nearby followed by a very familiar voice "Balt?" he asked hopeully

Balto whispered so Steele wouldn't hear him, " Yeah. It's me." He then looked up in the tree, " I agree with Taka over there. You said that dogs were better than wolves." He laughed and barked very loud so the week tree limb would snap and Steele would fall, " Now look at yourself. Over powered by a wolf." He laughed some more and walked up to Taka, " Sorry bro."

As the branch broke Steele collar got caught on another branch and made him cough as it blocked his windpipe.
"its ok Balt" said Taka then he heard Steele struggling for breath "umm was that supposed to happen

Balto heard also, " No. That wasn't. I'm gonna go get him down from there." He then ran up the tree and unhooked his collar leaving him on the ground.

"well maybe we should let you die next time,in fact should I kill you right now" snarled Taka abandoning all pretence at calmness,it was hard to tell if Steele or Takas face showed more loathing.

Steele snarled then lunged forewards and within seconds had taka by the throat he threw taka and laughed when Taka fell to the ground "whos got the upper hand now wolfdog" he sneered at Taka motion less body.
