Avalon stoped. She sensed Iseta's sadness. She walked back to the cave and looked down at Iseta and her sniffling body. "You know, if you don't want him to get hurt, you should come with us and help him." Avalon stared at Iseta as she looked up at her.

Avalon smiled at her, "Don't worry. If you slow us down, I'll carry you and you're not the only black furred one that's with us." She glanced out of the cave to Talis and then began to pace towards them. "Come on."
Abedabun smiled slightly and then stopped wagging his tail. He sniffed the air. 'Blood, Minty.. Her name came to him and as he looked over to the cave, she wasn't there. "Minty, where'd she go?" He questioned himself. "Avalon come with me! Hurry!" He bounded off into the forest and toward the smell of the blood. The worst of thoughts came to him.....death.
Avalon didn't catch on until she too smelt the blood. Following Abed as fast as she could, she was at his side in no time and slowed down as the smell was too strong. "It's here..." She dared herself to peer through the bushes and as she did, there was Minty, lying there.....dead?
Abed rushed through the bushes and to his sisters side. "Minty...don't leave me...sister..." Tears welled in his eyes. He sobbed over his sister and, without thinking, howled for her in sorrow. But as he finished the howl, she seemed to move. He cried more, but asked the question. "It was him wasn't it? The Terror." He hesitated. "I'll kill him for you sister, I will!" And he ran off into the forest following Azuze's scent. If the Terror was anywhere, it'd be near him.
"Abedabun! Abedabun!" She called after him, but nothing happened. "Rough-housing, stupid, jerk he could get killed!" Minty stirred again and the blood was still running from her neck. "I'll get you home girl." She piled Minty onto her back and ran back to the den. She sped to the edge and called to Tote. "Tote! I need you to watch her with great care, she needs plenty of help. Iseta! You're coming with me. We need to find Abedabun." Avalon took one last look at Minty and at Iseta. "You need to make your mind up now, follow me or don't because if you don't go, Tote will take your place and you can sit here knowing that you let your friends down! Now if you don't want that then come with me!" She ran off into the forest without taking one look back.

Avalon trudged forward. Her markings were beginning to glow silver, but over the white snow it wasn't very noticible. "Let's go! If we want to find Azuze and Abed we need to run as fast as possible!" She took off into the deep woods going on nothing but instinct. She wasn't sure if the others were following, but if they weren't she could go faster.
Abed had stopped a few miles away from where they found Minty. The smell of blood had faded, but Azuzephere's scent was fresh. He walked a few more feet and saw him running across an open plain. "Azuzephere!!!" He yelled angerly and bolted toward him with all his speed. He was at his side, even if he couldn't walk on the snow, he trudged through it and with his powerful legs, he jumped infront of Azuze knocking him over into the cold snow.
