I just signed the petition, making the total signatures over 1400. Is it true we only need to get 2000 signatures?

I think that this DVD WILL work. If anyone decides to remaster this DVD with 5.1 Dolby Surronud sound, which I hv since I DVRed the movie Balto a long time ago, but I need to call Dish and activate my USB Drive, Then, yes. This DVD will fly off the shelvs if it is sold that way. People who can't find it would go to the library and ck it out. And, Steet, do you have a spell checker?

That's what we aim to, but we're not sure that Universal will listen to us.

Universal is stubborn. I had a YTP and they took it off stating that a Hi-Res clip of Balto was on the YTP. So, I took it out, and all the other Balto parts... Plus, they teamed up with the MOST IGNORANT NEWS COMPANY EVER MADE! NBC. So, I think Universal will listen to us, but the ck and error system they have will not. NBC will not allow it. I still signed when I first signed up for Balto Source.

another great idea would be to make one with all 3 movies in one dvd...unless...they already did that?
I don't know, the only balto dvd i've seen on sale was at target for $9AUD...it's so sad how no one really nkows about this awesome film!

I don't know if they're planning anything; but the sure thing is that the Balto DVDs are now officially not "available in stores" :

For some reasons, Balto 3 has even been completly removed from their catalog. (but Balto 2 is still there, just "sold out")

Good news or bad news? I don't know, but currently, it can't be worse than that. (can it?)

Either way it's sad. I saw the first Balto movie being sold at a dollar store near my house :shock:

. They might just be desperate to try to get as much money as they can from the remaining DVDs they produced since they said they weren't selling.

Ok I think this movie definitely deserves a Blu-ray release by now. My VHS player is already dirty and we lost the cleaner so playing the VHS copy I bought almost ten years ago won't do. PLUS we upgraded to an HD TV so a VHS playing there will look and SOUND terrible.

This movie deserves a High-def remaster with hi-def sound (just imagine the scenes with loud booming noises - the CHILLLS).

So sad though... I hope all these desperate sell-outs is a sign where they want people to cash out on the remaining copies to get more profit and then all the sudden-announce a ultimate-must-have remaster release.
