Floatzel nodded his head and said "I might pass out but I'll be alright. You go on ahead and defeat that Gyarados." While they were talking, the Gyarados charged up a Thunder and when Floatzel got done talking, it unleashed it upon Lucario.

Lucario leapt out of the way and fired an Aura Sphere in retalitation.

Floatzel built up his energy while the fight continued.
The Gyarados roared in anger when the Aura Sphere hit it head on and used Dragon Rage on Lucario.

Lucario saw this coming and leapt out of the way. The training with the Musketeer Trio for sensing stuff like that came in handy.

Gyarados roared in anger again and used Aqua Tail, aiming at Lucario's head. It followed that attack up with Double Team and then used Ice Fang at her from one direction and backed away and repeated for a multitude of ten times. It finished up with a Hyper Beam.
Floatzel kept on building up energy to recover quicker than usual so that he can help Lucario out as quickly as possible.

Lucario, thanks to the training they'd recieved, managed to narrowly avoid most of it's attacks, but was knocked down by an Aqua Tail. She looked up and threw an Aura Sphere at the charging Hyper Beam before doing her best to dodge.

As the Gyarados' Hyper Beam was being fired, Floatzel ran quickly over to Lucario and pushed her out of the way. He quickly turned towards the Gyarados and used Hydro Cannon and both attacks got cancelled out. After the dust settled, Floatzel laid limply on the ground, knocked out cold.
The Gyarados laughed evilly and picked up Floatzel by its teeth and started to apply immense pressure to his limp body to severely damage it. It threw Floatzel after it had its fun toward Lucario and stared at her with a smirk on its face. It used Aqual Tail on Lucario while saying "I am disappointed in you, Lucario, and that pathetic life form was no challenge at all. He said he would destroy me and look where he is now. He is faced down in the ground, laying limply. Not even worth the time that was given to it."

Lucario screamed in fury and leapt on the Gyrados, grabbing it by the horns and pounding away with Force Palms right to it's temple in a berserker rage.

Gyarados fell back into the lake, being knocked unconscious from the constant assault to its head.

Floatzel started opening his eyes slowly after ten minutes and said weakly "What happened? Did we win? Did you get the flower?"

Lucario showed him the flower and nodded. "Yeah, I knocked him out."

Floatzel sighed and said "Then you did what I could not. I am sorry that I am not the best. I know I should be but I'm not. Can I tell you why I am so hard on myself, Lucario? The real reason why I am here?"

Lucario nodded. "Of course," she said, listening.
