The dogs stopped once they entered the woods, panting.
"You're sure fast on your paws there Simon." the lead dog chuckled.
Simon nodded. "You ain't seen nothin yet." he smirked.
"Good." the lead replied. "See you tomorrow mornin. We got a job." he said and he and the rest of the dogs walked off, leaving Simon alone.

Halina sat down in front of him. "Hey... i know you're better then that Simon," she said. "I saw you running with those dogs, taking food... I know you're better then that."

Halina narrowed her eyes, "Simooonn," she spoke. "Come on now, Something has been wrong, what did you say to the dogs you had to talk to?" she asked and wasn't going to leave without an answer.

Simon scuffed. "What have i got Halina? Honestly. Mom's a professional fighter. Dad saves lives. The sled team don't want me. I can't fight worth crud. No one really wants me around any more...I've gotten to the point where i don't care." he grumbled.

Halina soon snapped and growled, "Look... I want you to be the way you SHOULD Be, as a sled dog.. but apparently you want to be like your mom and on the bad side... then FINE!" she yelled and walked off, leaving him alone to be. She was now more then mad, she was furious. She felt a tear go down her cheek and she whipped it off before walking through the alleyways of the town and was soon next to town hall, and above it she saw a flag of the USA, then a flag of Alaska. She shook her head and walked on coming soon up to her house. Halina went inside of the house and laid on her owners bed, where the window next to her showed right out to the flags. She perked and looked outside at them, then she saw the forest behind it. She narrowed her eyes and gave a low growl before she looked away and setting her head down.

Simon paused and groaned, rolling his eyes before slinking back into town, down to the beach to meet up with Maya.

A week or two passed, Simon hadn't made any contact with Halina, it seemed they hadn't crossed eachother's paths since Halina had criticized him. Simon spent a lot of time on the beach, where he was now, asleep in the sand.
