Why do a lot of you hate Aleu?

No, Aleu is AWESOME! The only problem, is that she's worse than Balto when it comes to attitude. I really hate her attitude. She would probably not be as bad if she wasn't a teenager, though.

I hate Aleu. I could list tons of reasons why, but the top reasons that make me hate her is that she is whining... she whines about everything throughout the movie. She also ran away because she found out she was part wolf. When I found out I was Irish, I didn't have a meltdown and run into the wilderness. And she's pretty dumb. Without Aniu's little vision things, Aleu wouldn't have known anything: plus, she ran around howling and looked different and couldn't figure out she was part wolf.

I'm sorry to all of you who like Aleu, but that's how I feel :lol:

She is the best character, 1 reason out of many is that she is diffrent from all the others, all the others are way too much alike and well thats boring and lame, but Aleu gives the story some life to it.

I agree I mean without Aleu there would be no film. Kodi is okay but Aleu tops him!

I can see what you mean about her design though. She's such a brat, yet her 'sweet' face and all almost make you want to sympathize with her. But that didn't make me hate the movie. Loved the songs and the characters were still great. First is still the best though.

And it's fine, but I never said that I 'hated' Aleu. I just don't care for her.
I thought the plot was good, and I like the songs.

Creating Aleu was the downfall of the second movie. Besides being a crybaby, she's stupid as far as crossing Alaska just because some dumb rodent stated that she doesn't know who she is. The entire story had a weak plot. They could have made a far better situation to base the movie around than making Aleu apparently more wolf than her father who is only half wolf, which is impossible genetically.

I always thought that too. It's ridiculous that she'd be more wolf than her father who's only half.
Course they probably mean figuratively, but how's the young and/or literal audience supposed to get that?

Well of course it's figuratively, after all the whole movie is based on figures, magic and souls! It's not a documentary about genetics. XD
