Tafari gasped as he looked at Kabili,''Kabili are you saying there's a part of you inside me?'' He asked looking at Radhi.

Umeko mewed and started to climb on top of her brother not caring if it hurt him she wanted to see who the big lions are and she was determined to find out.

Radhi couldn't believe her eyes. It was something unbelievable! She'd heard about Simba's meetings with Mufasa in the clouds and the sky, but they always seemed like fairy stories, not real life.
"Yes, Tafari. We live inside you so although originally you were disconnected from my family, the joining with Radhi has transferred part of my spirit into yours."

Alika cried "Yes! I want a story! Me!"

Maliha took in that information. "Right, stay with the group, avoid hooves, don't waste energy. Got it!" She really liked Moto and wanted to impress him - she liked being the best so was delighted when her sister left.

Uri started complaining noisily. His sister had trodden right on top of him and it hurt.
"Hush, little Uri." whispered Uhuru. "You're sister is just trying to see everyone!"
Ubora looked down upon the little scene with a smile. "You're a tad nosey, aren't you Umeko?" He patted her head gently and put his paw out to balance her. "Careful, young one."

Taji had a massive smile on his face as he ran up to see his father with Rakhi. He'd done it! He'd finally confessed his love for Rakhi! He bumped into Bakari just as he left the cave. "Father!" he called. "I have something to say to ask you!"
Bakari stopped and looked at his son and Rakhi. "What is it?"
"Rakhi and I would like to become mates."
Bakari beamed. He had a suspicion that those two would be asking him this soon. "Of course you can! I am delighted for the both of you! Let me talk to Busara and see what we can do." He then smiled and winked at Rakhi. "I knew he'd do it in the end!"

''So that means mother has some spirits inside her too?'' He asked still stunned that Kabili the late prince and painter was talking to him and his mate Radhi.

Umeko purred and turned around and licked her brother Uri in an apologetic way. Umeko then without knowing climbed out of her mother's paws and started to wobble toward the entrance she had the mind of an explorer but was stopped by a large colored paw and Umeko looked up with wide eyes.

''I don't think so little one.'' Bahati said and lent down and picked Umeko up by the scruff of her neck and walked back towards Uhuru and Ubora and placed her back with her sibling.

Moto nodded. "Now, how about you try moving?" he asked. "Keep that same pose and walk forward," he added. He demonstrated by crouching down and moving forward. When he finished, he stood strait and flicked his tail towards some grass. "Try making it to there," Moto instructed, watching carefully.

Rakhi smiled at Bakari. 'Thanks!' She said, and then looked at Taji. 'I'd be happy then ever with him!'

'Good!' Said Aleela. 'So, wanna hear a story about hyenas? That happened in my childhood? Or something else, like the kings of the past?' She asked Aleela.

Kabili looked slightly sadder. "I'm afraid not, Tafari. I can't explain it exactly, but spirits can't pass back generations. You're mother has parts of all of us, just by living in the Pridelands, but because you have been joined with a direct descendant, you now have it within you."

"Thank you Bahati!" Uhuru said, before putting her head down close to Umeko's. "You're going to be causing trouble, aren't you!"

Maliha kept close to the ground. It was hard and she progressed slowly, making sure to do everything as best as she could without messing up because she was going too quickly. After what seemed like ages to her, she reached the grass. "How was that?" she asked.

"You're very much welcome Rakhi!" Bakari said.
Taji looked at his soon to be mate. "I can't wait!"
Bakari's smile soon turned serious as he turned to Rakhi again. "I'll probably get Amani to teach you some important roles about being Queen, seeing as you will be future Queen. It shouldn't take up too much of your time!"

"Ooh! Hyena's please! I want to know some more about them. I know my grandmother Nabii was raised with them and that they lived with Scar who was my great-great-great grandfather Mufasa's brother, but I don't know much more than that!"
Alika sat down and looked up eagerly into Aleela's face.

Meanwhile in the gorge, a young cub, Zula, lied still, hungry, tired and thirsty. She had been waiting for someone to come for her. She dreamt herself in a loving pride. With friends, someone to look after her. She heard footsteps coming from a ledge hanging on the cliff of the gorge. "He-hello?" She called with her dry throat. "Is... is a-anybody the-there?" She called once more.

'As you say!' Rakhi replied. 'I'm ready.'

'That's good you know! Well, I can tell one of my childhood today.' She then looked at the sky. 'It was when I lived with my dad and used to play with your dad and mom. There lived a cousin of mine a distance from his pride. When I went to see her one day, she was missing. Can you tell the reason, Alika?' Aleela looked at Alika and smiled.

Tafari looked down his ears pinned back against his head ''Oh,I'll keep doing the same thing. How's my father is he alive or gone with you and the great kings?'' He asked looking at Kabili's spirit as it glowed from the sun.

Bahati smiled and laughed,''Your welcome. Do you want me to alert the pride of the birth of the new cubs?'' She asked sitting beside Uhuru who was lying down holding the new cubs.

Umeko mewed and snuggled up close to her mother's warm chest fur purring while doing so.

Iyafa listened in, interested. She was figuring out the reason herself while waiting for Alika to answer. Finally figuring out it was probably because hyenas chased after Aleela's cousin, she glanced around the area once again, smiling. She felt a soft breeze blow behind her.

Bakari walked off from the happy couple. They were so good together and he was sure they would make brilliant leaders. He went off in search of Busara to arrange details for the Joining Ceremony. He found him, walking along the edge of the gorge.
"Are you okay, my friend?" he asked.
Busara nodded, sadly. "I just miss her, Moyo. I see everyone happy, yet I'm not."
"I'm sure you'll find someone, Busara, even if it's not the person you expect!"
Again, Busara nodded, but then his head lifted and his ears pricked up. "Do you hear that?" he asked.
Bakari listened attentively and heard a faint voice. "This way - quickly!"
He peered over the edge of the gorge, feeling dizzy at the height. "Can you see anything?"
Busara looked and saw a young cub, lying at the bottom of the gorge. "There, sire, a young cub."
Bakari saw the cub and scrambled down the side of the gorge as quickly as he could. He ran quickly over to the cub. "Hello." he said, softly. "My name is King Bakari. Are your parents around here?"
He saw the cub shake her head.
"Let me pick you up and take you back so you can get cared for properly."
He bent down and gently picked the cub up. Poor girl, he thought, why would someone leave her alone like this?

Kabili noticed Tafari's sadness. "Don't be sad for your mother, Tafari. She has her own line of descendants, each of them as important as me, if not more important. As for your father, he is still alive, out there somewhere." Kabili smiled down at the couple. "I must leave, for now, but remember that all the Kings and Queens of the Past live within you, now and forever."
Radhi saw Kabili's bright spirit fade through her eyes, misty with tears. "You're father's alive, Tafari!"

Alika thought for a moment. "Umm... something to do with hyenas? Was she taken by them? Or did she play with them?" She looked at Iyafa for help. "Iyafa..?"

"Yes, I think it's time. Could you please call them Bahati?"

As Zula hung from Bakari's jaw she looked around the area, examining her surroundings. Wondering to herself where this lion was taking her. "Excuse me, sir. But, Wh-where are w-we g-going?" She asked as she whimpered. As she awaited an answer she felt how hungry she was, not realizing it before.

Iyafa smiled. "I think the hyenas either took her or just chased after her," she replied to the cub. "We'll just have to see." She patiently waited for Aleela to continue the story. To her, any story that had something to do with the pride was a good one. She was even still learning new things from the pride each day.

Kori noticed how sad Kensai was, and decided to go to him while Mara was talking to some of the lionesses. "Kensai..." she called quietly, as she slowly walked closer to him. "What's wrong?"

"A story?" Kani ran to Aleela and Iyafa. "Bye Maliha and Moto!"

Mara noticed a cub in the distance, and Bakari and Busara. She ran towards them, since she hadn't seen any cubs like her.

'Hello, Kani! We're telling stories about hyenas!' She said and then looked at the other two. 'No. Another baby animal was taken by them. And she went to save him along with her friends. All were just little cubs, two days younger than me. The king, my dad, me and some others went to save them. They didn't want to take me, but I did go with them. When we reached the hyenas place, can you say what happened?' Aleela looked at Alika and Kani.
