"Because lately Hiccup has been... well, different. Every time I go to ask him out on a date, he acts strange. And when I go to kiss him, he moves away, even if its just a kiss on the cheek. I just, I want him to be my boyfriend, but I would break up with him faster then you could say "Dragons are cool....." Nova could tell there was another reason for it. Astrid just had to tell her. "I think he's cheating on me."

Hiccup? Cheating? Either Astrid was on some exotic mushroom, or she was telling the truth. "With who?" Nova wondered out loud. She tried to think of all the possibilities. But seriously, who would a viking cheat on Astrid Hofferson with?

"You," Nova gasped. "Or June."

"Okay, well it wasn't me. Ugh, gods, that leaves June. Are we positive there's no one else? Nothing else?"

"You, your not saying he's cheating on me with a dragon, are you?"

"Yeah, you're right. Ugh, June is so ignorant sometimes. She's absolutely clueless! Just because she's 'iin love' with him, she thinks that she has to do the whole boyfriend- girlfriend thing, even if it's in the middle of another relationship. Seriously, she can't see beyond herself sometimes."

"But, I would expect Hiccup to ignore her... Instead he's ignoring me..." Astrid was sad. Hiccup hadn't kissed her in 4 days.

"Well, you can't blame him if his feelings changed, because people can't fix that all the time. And I think that if Hiccup could, he would still feel that way about you." Nova paused, thinking. "Maybe it's time for you to just move on, Astrid," she said quietly.

"Move on?" Astrid asked. "MOVE ON!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!? I WILL NOT MOVE ON!"

"Okay, sorry, shouldn't have spoken, o Demon-eye-Queen." Nova shrunk away. "So what do you suggest?" she asked meekly.

"I suggest we spy on the little son of a half-troll rat eating munge-bucket!"
Astrid had that "I"m gonna lop your head off!" look on her face.

"Okay, but no violence. Maybe we can catch them in the act and really embarrass them. Wait! I have an idea! You go up to them and demand to know what's going on, and then I'll walk up pretending to be another one of Hiccup's mistresses, and then June will get mad at hiccup too!" Nova had a devilish look in her eyes.

"That's good, but I say we catch him doing something bad. Like kissing or....making out with the other girl! "

"Yeah, and then my plan. Ok?" Nova looked at the sleeping night fury. "I'll be back for you later," she promised. Nova and astrid both got on stormfly and flew off towards berk, Desert trailing frantically behind them.

After they arrived, they went to Hiccup's house and watched throughout the window. "Nova, you go to the back of the house and watch, and I'll stay here and watch."
