"you don't strike me as a very social person.." Kat mused aloud

"Perhaps i've used the wrong word." Ian throught aloud, continuing his steady trot.

Kat took a deep breath, "But, I'll bet that the girls just love you.." She said, almost sadly.

Ian snorted bemusedly.
"Riiight, I never noticed anything."

Kat felt herslef blush a bit, "I-I Mean...you are pretty good looking.." She grumbled.

Ian's teal gaze flicked to Kat, and then he looked back straight ahead.
"Oh really? I guess, but you are too." He hummed, not realizing he'd made a compliment.

Kat's blush deepened and she looked down. The sun was beginning to set on the horizon.
"Should we stop for camp?" She asked.

"Sure." Ian hopped off his horse and tied it to a tree, before laying down a blanket. He sat down on it with a tired sigh, leaning back to look up at the sky. This wasn't..as bad as he pictured.

Kat did the same and pulled a few blankets out of her bag. She set them don on the grass, next to Ian, and lay down on her back, watching as the sky became darker and darker.

Ian just barely glanced at Kat, letting his gaze linger on her a moment before looking back to the sky. He lay down completely on his back, and listened to the quiet breeze making the leaves rustle.

"I wonder..." Kat cut herself off, "Nevermind.." She said.

"What?" Ian asked, not bothering to open his eyes, since he was rather tired. But he couldn't sleep, so he didn't know if he was truly tired. He felt a warm feeling pooling in his stomach and frowned, suddenly uncomfortable with it.

"I don't know..." Kat lied.

"Don't lie to me Kat, you're a terrible liar." Ian growled stiffly.

Kat blushed and turned to look at Ian, "I was just wondering.. I dunno...If you didn't want to snap my neck.. If we'd be-" She cut herself off again, not even understanding what she was about to say, "no... I can't say.." She said stubbornly.
