The pups seemed to wake up first the next morning, eager to adventure outside again.

Radon crept quietly out the den, Nickel and Chrome in tow as they ventured outdoors.

"Don't leave my sight." Shane ordered quietly, flicking his ear in te direction of the sneaking pups.

The pups looked over, surprised he had heard them.
"We won't." Radon promised as he and Chrome venture out a bit to have room to play. Nickel, on the other hand, took a seat next to Shane.

Shane smiled, and looked down at Nickel.
"Sorry about being a party-pooper last night bud, your mom and I were just worried." He explained.

Nickel looked up at him and smiled, nodding. He moved closer and lay down, his little paw holding onto Shane's.

Shane smiled, licking the tips of Nickel's ears. He honestly felt like Nickel was his own pup.

Nickel giggled and nuzzled against Shane, his tail wagging.

Shane smiled and turned to watch the other pups at play.

Suphor whimpered and nudged Chrone off of Radum, trying to keep the pace. Shane buckled as he watched the eager pups.

Chrome jumped off Radon, but then jumped on Sulphor with a playful laugh, being gentle enough not to hurt him, but strong enough to move Sulphor the way he wanted.
