Kefir went in and lay down beside her, happy that he was going to be a father soon. He carefully licked Adia's ears and went to sleep himself.

"They will be soon." Uzuri said, knowing that Kamaria cared about her brother's mate.

Adia purred and fell asleep she then woke up and felt her cubs kicking inside her,"Kefir.... Kefir...'' Adia said quietly and nudged her mate then looked around seeing that her family was asleep. Her parents sleeping together,Hadi and Kaliona sleeping together,Simba and Nala sleeping together and Kamaria sleeping on the other side of Kefir.

"Juicy meat." Kefir mumbled as Adia shook him. He turned to one side and started snoring again. When she prodded him again, he got up. "Wasn't me, honest." he said, his eyes full of panic. Then, when he saw her, the look faded from his eyes and was replaced by concern and fear for her.

"T.. the cubs are kicking.'' Adia said and gasped a little as one cub gave a hard kick. "I t...think it's time...'' She gasped.

Kefir eyes widened. He jumped up. Normally, he would have panicked like crazy, but his time as a wild lion taught him to go through this calmly. "Stay down" he told her. "I'll go get your mother." Without waiting to see if she heard, he ran and shook Uzuri awake. In a few seconds, the entire pride was crowded around Adia, with Uzuri and Kefir at her side.

Adia looked up at Kefir, "Kefir... I'm scared.'' She said her eyes showing pain and scared.

He pressed his muzzle to hers. "It'll be alright." he told her. "Just breathe. Everything will be fine." "Here it comes." Uzuri said. Kefir said comforting words to Adia the whole time.

Kamaria had tears in her eyes seeing her neice or nephew being born was the best thing that ever happened to her.

Adia gasped and felt a small bundle of yellow fur slip from her body. Her first cub has arrived to this world.

Kefir stood up, proud. The cub was a mixture of brown and yellow. "What shall we name him?" he asked Adia, somehow knowing that it was a boy.

"Zuberi...'' Adia said smiling and began licking her cub but stopped, "I think there's more...'' She said gasping a little.

Kamaria ran towards Adia's stomach and pressed gently and she could feel two or three more cubs moving inside her. "Yes.. there is defiantly more...''

Kefir watched as two more cubs came out. He was very happy. A boy and a girl. "But, what should we call them?" he asked, bewildered.

"For the yellow female... I was thinking of Penda or Asali? And for the male... Ashante?'' Adia said resting and licking her cubs while the pride was watching them with joy.

Kefir nodded. "They are perfect for them both." He couldn't have been happier.

Adia smiled, "Zuberi,Penda, and Ashante.'' She said licking them all then looked at Kefir and nuzzled him. "Did you see your grandchildren yet mother and father?'' She purred.

"I feel like I could burst." Safari smiled. He bent down to look at them. "They are beautiful, aren't they?" he asked uzuri, who merely nuzzled him.
