"What are you guys talkin'-"

"Nothing!" Leann yelped, interrupting Scotty before he could finish his question.

He looked at her curiously and she grinned and blushed. Adam's laughter made Scotty turn and look at him. "I hate when you guys keep secrets between yourselves..." he muttered.

"Yeah scotty we need a secret!" Sydney chimed, but not taking her eyes from her phone.

"I"m sure you have plenty of them sis?"

Sydney glared, and sighed.
"Not really, a few, but not many." She said.

"Are there any you'd like to share with the class?" he asked, faking the voice of one of his teachers.

"Well Hope's been going at me for almost 3 years now, if thats one you'd like to know." Sydney said, staring at her phone, replying to Joan. "Aaannd..Scotty? Your old gerbil didn't run away, then neighbor's dog ate it when i tried takin' him for a walk!"

"What?! You tried takin' French Fry for a walk?!"

"Well..I had a cute little collar that fit him, but he kinda chewed it off." Sydney said with a small laugh.

"Gerbils don't wear collars!" he whined.

"I was six! I didn't know!" Sydney shot back, trying to sustain laughter.

"Why couldn't you have let me live with the thought that he had run away..." he muttered.

"Well that one was kinda funny.." Sydney said, giggling. "You shoulda seen the dog, i thought they were playing!"

Scotty simply glared at her and made an annoyed face then he perked "Hey wait that reminds me!" he stood up and hurried off into the kitchen, he then came back with a bowl of milk.

"Milk? Out of a bowl? Really scotty?" Sydney said, laughing.

"It's not fer' me!" rolled his eyes and walked to the front door. He flicked on the porch light then waited before opening the door. The bushes rustled and a slim orange tabby cat snuck out of the bushes and looked up at Scotty with a friendly meow. Scotty sat the bowl down and patted the cat, Scotty secretly loved cats over dogs.
