Fang nodded, seeing Balto and Jenna. "Help me get Katie out of here!" he called, trying to get Katie up on his back.

Cachen looked Katie in the eyes, trying not to look at the blood. "Momma... I'm sorry we weren't fast enough to get papa here before you got hurt..." he said, tears streaming down his face.

Shenkin was knocked back, a bleeding cut on his muzzle. The powerful wolf bit down on Dusty's shoulder and threw her away. He winced at Kai's bite before kicking back with his other, nailing Kai between the hind legs hard enough to lift the poor pup off the ground. He then bit down on Kodi's shoulder.

OOC: Just to point out, Shenkin is just insane, not evil. At least that's what I'm going for.

Balto nodded and would help get Katie onto Fang's back, making sure her broken leg wasn't jostle around too much.


Kirby and Ralph would join the fray, keeping Shenkin from escaping.


Kodi winced and growled, biting down on the area where Shenkin's shoulder and neck met. He yanked and tugged.


Katie whimpered and buried her face into Fang's fur. She looked at Cachen. "It's okay, sweetheart. I'm okay. i'm alive." she said hoarsely, gripping Fang as much as she could.

Kai yelped and cringed, but kept going, leaping onto Shenkin's back. He bit down on the back of his neck, claws sinking into the big wolf's flanks.


OOC: Ohoho, I definitely noticed.

Sakak charged energy into his paw and put it on Shenkin's head, sending energy into Shenkin. Shenkin began to shrink down, leaving behind a little wolf cub, about the age that he was when he knew Katie as kids.

Shenkin looked around in confusion. "W-where am I?" he asked, confused and frightened. He crawled over slowly and looked up at Katie. "K-Katie... You... You're so big now... I... I don't know what's going on..."

"Being taken away from you like he was is what drove him mad," said Sakak. "What hurt him the most was he never got to say goodbye to Katie or anything, being torn from his best friend who he thought he loved and never being able to see her again, mixed with years of bitterness were what drove him mad. I turned back the clock so you can set things right," he whispered to Katie. "If you want, I can make you a pup in body to tell him."

OOC: I was going to turn him into a snake or something, but it seemed too cruel considering he was just insane. Should he be returned to an adult as if he HAD got to say goodbye and been told to move on properly, or left a pup and given to a wolf pack to raise? Your choice.

Katie blinked, eyes wide as she watched Shenkin shrink down... And old emotions hit her hard. She smiled sadly as Anabelle placed a paw to her broken leg, slowly mending it. "I'd forgotten... How small he used to be." she whispered, smiling at Shenkin. She rubbed his head softly with a good paw.



OOC: I like the idea of him growing up with a wolf pack. I don't know why. I guess it's because it seems like a nice thing to do, since it seems their childhood was happiest for him.

Lena groaned, waking up. "W-what happened?" she asked, finally recovering and getting wobbly to her feet.

"Katie... What's going on?" asked Shenkin, looking around in a panic. "I'm scared..." said the poor little pup, shaking with fear.

"Not everyone can get a second chance," whispered Sakak. "I needed to get a Arch Angel's permission just to do this, don't let the chance to pass by to set right what once went wrong," he explained, looking to Anabelle. "His life watch still needs reset," he reminded.

Jenna looked to Balto. "Have you ever heard of this happening?"

OOC: Yeah, give him a second chance at life.

Annabelle finished repairing Katie's leg, who smiled, as it didn't hurt anymore. But it still ached a bit. She slowly slid form Fang's back, and leaned down. "It's okay. You're safe. I'd never let anything happen to you..." she said. Though he had been crazy, Katie adored the friendship they'd shared.

Anabelle nodded. "I'll reset it as soon as possible." she said softly.

"I've never heard of this." Balto said. "I thought a second chance at life was just kind of for... near death things. This is a little too literal."
