Kyler chuckled. "I was kidding." she confessed, her smile now fading. "I should go make sure my parents aren't worried." she looked up at Damien, as if awaiting his approval.

"I wasn't trying to be mean." informed Kyler to Chase, suddenly feeling bad for him. She turned back to Damien. "Please." she said, "I could really use some company while I'm walking down Death Row." she said this because she knew her parents would kill her for not being home the entire night, and even more because she was at Damien's house. Who knew what they would think, knowing those two facts.

Kyler blushed when Damien put his arm around her, and she began heading for the exit. "Bye, Zee. Chase." she farewelled as her and Damien left the house, stepping into the bright sunlight, half-guarded by dark rainclouds. "You think it's gonna rain?" she asked, looking upwards fearfully.

Kyler brought up her hand, lacing her fingers through the hand that Damien had put around her. She looked down at her converse sneakers, knowing her parents were about to give her hell times two, as well as a grounding she'd surely sneak out of. They walked in silence for a little while, but then she tried lightening the mood and forgetting about the upcoming punishments to say, "You know, even if I do get the scolding of a lifetime, I'm glad it was worth it." she beamed up at him.

Kyler looked back at Damien, meeting him eye-to-eye. "Oh," she said, "Just being with you and you being your amazing self." she chuckled, tightening her grip on his hand. "And finding out you care about me as much as I care about you."

Kyler's face reddened as well as he looked away, but she still smiled at him. She retorted jokingly, "That's all you can say? 'Oh'?"
