Sadie nodded. She felt a small twinge of nervousness in the pit of her stomach at the thought that Rio was going to leave, even if he wouldn't be gone too long. She knew the concern was in vain though. There wasn't away Ai could've tracked their scent through a river, and up to this point. So she mentally shook her head, shaking the thoughts away as well. "Hurry back," she said, managing a small smile.

"Kill 'em," Hiro replied. The answer was typical, blunt and to the point. However, it made the she-wolf smile.
"No, no, I beleive we should take revenge beyond that. I've heard they have had puppies. Four of them, to be precise. Now, wouldn't it be a shame if something happened to them?" Ai asked. A whole scheme was laid out in that one sentence.

Sadie licked his muzzle. "Thank you, Rio," she said. Laika and Juno stirred as the smell of meat filled the air. Laika, due to the fact she had been carried most of the way, had the most energy, and basically leapt to her paws, bose quivering in anticipation.
"Yay, I'm starving," she said quickly, licking her muzzle, her mouth already salivating. Juno cracked open an eye. Oddly, the sight of food helped wake him up more than the scent, and he sat upright.
"I call a rabbit leg!" he said, his voice loud.
