Riley almost yelped in pain as the bullet kept going closer and closer to his heart. "I'm..." he began to say, but was cut off as he fell unconsious. Dr. Jay's face turned a bit horrified as he realized the danger for Riley. He called in a bunch of other vets. Some of them to help Ace and Dark as well. The rest hurried to Riley's aid, unsure of helping a wolf, but brushing it off and getting to work. They worked tirelessly trying to get the bullet out without puncturing the heart or lungs. And it was pretty hard getting past the parts of the ribs where the bullet went through. Those few parts were broken, almost shattered. But after a full hour, they finally grabbed the bullet. They pulled it out carefully, and placed it in a plastic bag. They had reached it just in time. If any more minutes would have passed by, it would have been in the center of the heart and stopped the beating.

Sadie watched, trying no to growl softly whenever a human came to close, their worried expressions not helping with her mood. She stood close by the operating table, wishing that they could both be somewhere's else, perfectly fine. She watched him with worried brown eyes, trying not to wince as a few humans jostled her while getting the bullet out, then closing the wound.

As soon as all the vets finished closing the wound, some of them left. The remaining ones continued to work on Dark and Ace. Riley, now that his heart wasn't beating so rapidly, opened his eyes to see Sadie, Aaron, Kodan, and Nika. He smiled slightly. "Fine..." he said to Sadie, finishing his sentence from earlier. He sighed in relief as he felt almost no pain.

Sadie nuzzled him gently, burying her muzzle in his thick fur. "I'm glad you're okay," she said, her soft voice even softer as it was muffled by his fur.

Ooc:// Dark, he couldn't get up after just having bullets taken out. It hurts...he would have to be in some pain atleast.

Riley laughed slightly, then said. "I'm fine, now. You?" he asked. He turned to Aaron and said, "Thanks for bringing me here."

Aaron laughed. "You're my brother! What? You think I'd leave you to die?" he said sarcastically.

Sadie drew her head back slightly and releculantly, breaking contact with him. She smiled at him, closing her brown eyes briefly, then re-opening them. She padded over to Ace, his familiar grizzled fur making her smile widen. "How are you feeling?" she asked softly.

She nuzzled him gently. It was different than nuzzling Ryan, this was for comfort and they had known eachother for a while. Not tha same at all. "Well, I hope you stop feeling sore, man," she said, joking.

OOC: Ryan? I think you're mixing up RPs XD (Ryan's my character in some of the vampire RPs XD)

BIC: Riley's laugh died down as Dark answered him. "Well, I hope you feel better Dark," he said, then he looked at Sadie. He smiled. She looked so pretty to him. He just couldn't stay away from her, even if he tried.

Sadie smiled again, her brown eyes warm. "I hope so," she said.
