"Wait!" yelled the 'doctor' as he came out of the back room, carrying something covered in a blanket. He smiled evilly, then pulled off the blanket, revealing the real -and healed- Nook in a cage with a muzzle and shackles on. The 'doctor' picked up a scalpel off the operating table and held it towards the quivering creature in the cage. "One more move, and he dies." he growled.

Ooc:// This is the real Nook.
Vetch let go instantly, dropping to the ground and looking up at Nook with sad eyes. "Nook..." he whispered.
"I will not kill him." said the doctor. "He's much too valuable."

"Do you want me to kill your friend?" challenged the doctor, pushing the scalpel harder against Nook's skin.
"No!" cried Vetch. "Please don't! Please!"

"I know." replied the doctor. Then he turned to Vetch. "You seem to be going soft, Vetch." he said with an evil grin. "Scared I might kill you all too?" he teased.
Vetch snarled and leapt on the doctor, making him let go of the cage. "Rue!" he called. "Grab it!"

Rue lunged for it, and grabbed it in her mouth.
