Adolph perked his ears, "Maybe you think that's it, but I'm more of a fighting guy. Did you stay back, because you were, well, afraid?" he said, anger rising at the beggining, but he talked quietly by the end of what he was saying. "I wish I could fight, the humans deserve it."

Jason nodded, "Lets go," he said, and walked off, nose twitching and smelling, searching for any humans scents, any trouble.
Joy walked beside him, "Anything new?" she asked.
"No." he replied, and kept walking.

"I was not afraid!" Rhode snarled. "I stayed because I wanted to keep you company! I never left Ani's side since we were pups! You think I'm just staying here with you to have an excuse to not fight?! You think I'm trying to comfort you the best way I can to have a way out of fighting?!" Her fur was standing on end, her eyes narrowed and blazing at the same time. Then, her face expression suddenly looked hurt. She squeezed her eyes shut and ran out of the den, not once looking back.

Rackshaw's ears flicked back and forth, making sure no humans or dogs were sneaking up behind them. He stuck close to the group, looking around for danger.

Adolph ducked his head down low, "Wait! I didn't mean it that way!" he called, but he didn't follow. "I'm... sorry." he said in a low tone. He sighed, he hadn't meant to hurt his packmate.
Jason walked on, ears, eyes, and nose ready. He looked around, and kept searching for anything unusual.
Joy followed behind, not doing much, other than walking.

As Rhode ran far from Adolph's den, she finally stopped and sat down with a sigh. She didn't know where the packs were, or where anyone was for that matter. Suddenly, a stick broke behind her. Rhode whirled around and heard a gunshot. That was the last thing she heard. In her life.

Rackshaw jumped when he heard the gunshot. Then, he booked. He bolted off towards the source, yelling, "What was that? Oh no oh no!"

Adolph perked his ears at the gunshot, and ran out the den. He went to where Rhode was, dead. He gasped. "Oh, no... It's all my fault. Stupid self..." he muttered where no wolf could hear him.
Jason heard the gunshot, "Go see who that was. We'll have to wait, now."
Joy ran off into the woods, knowing it was probably either Adolph or Rhode. She saw that it was Rhode, and turned to Adolph, "What happened?" she asked him.
"It's... too complicated. She ran out of the den, and got shot. I just asked her if she was afraid to fight... that's all. She just... I don't know, overreacted... I guess, you should let the hunter shoot me, it was partially my fault..." Adolph said, only load enough for Joy to hear, because she was right next to him.

"Leave me alone for a while. I have to think. Clear my head. A lot has happened in this one night!"Adolph said, and ran off to a nearby stream.
Joy looked after him, "Great. Now he's upset... You never wanna meet upset Adolph, belive me!" she said to the other packs. She padded off after him.
"Be quiet! All of you!" Jason said, "I'm gonna hold a meeting with those two, tomorrow. We should be sad, but why argue over an accident?" he sighed, "You should know what I mean... it wasn't Adolph complete fault, or was it Rhode's. They both were at fault, and Adolph feels terrible. Isn't that enough suffering for that poor wolf-dog?"

"She was only trying to keep him company!" Ani argued. "We haven't been apart for longer than an hour since we were pups! And now she's dead!" His eyes were filled to the brim with rage from the death of his best friend.

Rackshaw nudged Rhode's side, trying to flip her over to see where the bullet had hit.

"Don't touch her!" Ani roared, swiping a clawed paw across Rackshaw's face, across his eye. It left three bleeding scars over Rackshaw's eye. Ani stood firm, ready to swipe again.

Rackshaw turned back at him, revealing the three scars, and his eyes was no longer white, but a dark pink. Rackshaw growled and bared his teeth, about to attack.

Jason looked around. "I know you are upset, Ani, but why take your anger out on everyone else? I know your best friend is dead now..." he said understandigly (is that a word?), "but, you don't have to make us all suffer for it! Rackshaw was trying to help, to see where the bullet went!"

Ooc:// Yes, 'understandingly' is in fact a word. XD

Ani acted like Jason didn't say anything and stayed growling at Rackshaw.

OOC: Yay for using words that I didn't know existed(it sounded so weird when I typed it...)
Jason growled, and then just let them fight, "I know it's wrong, but there's no stopping Ani. He seems very upset about Rhode..."
