"You know you can be a real butt!" He growled and tackled her, rolling, then letting go making sure she was on the bed as he fell off and hit to floor. "Again....very lucky floor"

De froze, quickly and gently pushed Shay off and was across the room in no time. He had his head inbetween his knees as he sat in the corner "Don't do that, without warning..." He looked up at her and his eye's lightly turning back to normal from being black. He put his head back down, "Im sorry Shay...." he whispered as he sat in the corner with his hood up.

"I'm ok now." De crawled over and sat next Shay, he rested his head on her shoulder, his hood still up. "Sometimes, I really wish I could be human."

De wrapped his arms around her waist and back "I want to be able to feel again, Shay." he whispered into her shoulder

"You know when I said that i wasn't you know....alive? Well the body doesn't do things when its not alive, I can't cry, blush, feel my heart flutter when i see you, I cant sweat, I cant you know, feel anymore. I can feel emotions slightly but thats it, anger, saddness, love and passion, fear, but i don't get what comes with it." He continued to hold her like a scared child.

But now i have these two guys tracking me...one of them is Alex, my friend that calls me De." He held on to her, figureing that she wouldn't want to even be close to him now "I don't know what they'll do to you now that you know about vampires, me, and my old coven."

De growled at himself "No Shay." He sat up and pulled her onto his lap and hugged her "I will protect you. No matter what." His voice suddenly strong and sure instead of the uncertantiy that had filled it earlier. He kissed the top of her head.
