Bought a funny stuff on ebay.co.uk last week :) (Pics are clickable)

Image
Humphrey on timber. Wind-up toy, charges while rolling back by hand. Moves ahead fastly, if timber strikes an snag - wolf flies forward somersault :)

Image
Lilly with wind-up key, tries to make back somersault with full twist, but every time fails .. :)

Image
Kate with spring group. If you pull her down, then she jumps forward over 3 seconds.

Image
Gart. If you itch his chest, he'll make a wolfie hoooooowwl :)

Image
Humphrey with pull back motor, crawls forward, sniffing a trail :)

Image
Kate, with button on right side. If you press it, Kate will move her paws like running wolf :)

Image
Marcel. If you press his stomach, he will gabble and flap like a real goose!

Image
Paddy. Can do nothing, so you'll have to blow the duck-call-whistle in his wing yourself :)

And another one merchandise - alpha and omega watches from hong-kong!

I hated this movie. Most of the characters looked unreal, most of them reminded me of humans instead of wolves, the storyline was... Wow. Not very good.

I was like... Unoriginal storyline. Its not like one stampede will change everyone's mind like THAT.

And this movie plain creeped me out.

RioLil'C you should to watch "Making of Alpha and Omega". Everything you talking about was director's idea - wolves with human's mimics and teenager's behavior. IMHO It would be stupid movie if wolves would be as real. It is a catrtoon, not a Discovery channel :)

Deleted scene, very cute :)

those toys are cool looking Charliez, ;) but I thought the last two wolf toys were supposed to be Winston and Tony.. (at least that's what I saw from Ebay).. hmmm..

yeah, I saw that extra on the DVD that they were supposed to be caricatured wolves .. but that was just a bit much for me.. I really don't think it's that necessary to put that much hair on a wolf .. ( thanks goodness Balto or the dogs/foxes from Fox and the Hound didn't end up like that  )..

but to each their own..

it also kinda creeped me out about the berry munching Wolf girls.. but then I remembered that Dogs are somewhat omnivorous and there are berries in some pet foods.. so I guess that was o.k but still.. *shrugs*..

Personally, I liked this movie. Now, I will be flat out honest that the major reason I liked this movie was because it was a movie about wolves. Though the animation and anatomy could have been improved, this was still pretty good in my opinion. Animation is not an easy thing to do, and I understand that the company tried hard to add originality and a cartoony look to their characters. Quite frankly, they got it right. The "manes" were especially original. Not all animation has to be realistic, which I greatly feel was what everyone expected. I loved the colors, effects, and the music. The way the wolves "sang" as a howl was creative, though a couple of the howling songs were a bit off-key and reflected off of the howling as sloppy. There were some really nice singing tones, however. The score music was flat-out awesome, as score music usually is. If there's anything this movie should be remembered by as talent it should be the music team's work. Lilly and Garth were easily characters that I fell in love with, and each character had a nice "difference" to them, even the cameos which I liked. If not a difference in personality there was a destinctive difference in looks, which was nice to not see so many duplicates of the same pack character as you would usually find in animated cameos with big groups. Overall, I like this film. Was it one of the best films of 2010? No. Was it one of the best animated films ever? No. But it was still enjoyable and I would love to watch it again.

wow, I didn't even think this a book tie-in.. is this from Ebay.co.uk also?

it says there's a message from Hayden there.. is there an audio recording inside the book?

cool, they got Lily on the cover there.. though it almost looks like that she could've been Humphrey's girlfriend..

be interesting if Lily was acutally interested in Humphrey though.. ;)

yeah, I think in the one of the featurettes on the DVD, says something about Wolves being reintroduced in yellowstone.. in 1995, coincidentally the same year Balto was made...

Alpha and Omega is the first Wolf movie they've done since Balto! i could take a liking to the idea! It seems smart. But it almost seems like a rip off of Balto with the goose!
